Grocery Home Delivery FAQs
- 1 What is Grocery Delivery?
We recognize that not everyone can get out to our stores to get their groceries so we’re now bringing the groceries to you! Grocery delivery allows our customers to select a delivery window and have their groceries delivered right to their door.
- 2 Will you deliver to condos/buildings?
Yes. We will deliver your groceries to your home, whether you live in an apartment/condo or a house. Where permitted, in an apartment/condo building, we will deliver to your suite. If that is not possible, you will be asked to meet the driver in the lobby of your building. We will not leave groceries with the concierge.
- 3 What is the Grocery Delivery fee?
The fee is $9.97 for picking, packing, and delivering your order.
- 4 Is there a minimum order amount for Grocery Delivery?
Just like Grocery Pickup, the minimum order amount is $50.00 before tax.
- 5 What measures are in place to ensure proper temperature control?
Refrigerated and frozen items will be packed in special carriers to ensure that their safe temperatures are maintained. You can be assured that our drivers will never be in transit for more than 45 minutes, ensuring safe temperature control for all of your groceries.
- 6 What happens if no one is home during my delivery window?
In the event that no one is present for your delivery, your order will be returned to the store and cancelled in our system. To receive your order, you will need to log onto your account on walmart.ca and replace the order for a future date and time or call 905-615-9287.
- 7 Can I cancel my order?
If you know that you will not be available for your order, we ask that you contact walmart.ca’s Customer Service team at 1-800-328-0402 as soon as possible so that the order can be cancelled. You can then replace your order on walmart.ca for a more suitable future date and time.
- 8 What if there is a problem after my order is delivered?
Should you have a problem with any item included in your order, please contact one of our Associates by calling the number on the invoice that the driver left with you. The Associates will be more than happy to assist you with a refund or credit for future order.
Grocery Pickup FAQs
- 1 Is there a minimum order value to be eligible for Walmart Grocery Pickup?
Yes. Your total order must exceed $50 (before taxes and applicable fees).
- 2 Are there fees for using Walmart Grocery Pickup?
There are no fees for Walmart Grocery Pickup orders that are picked up in a Walmart store. For Penguin PickUp locations, there’s a fee of $2.97 on weekdays and $4.97 on weekends.
- 3 Will you Ad Match grocery items?
Yes, we will! We are happy to match any grocery competitor in your area that has an online flyer. You can request an ad match via our online form.
- 5 What is the return policy?
Freshness matters to us, which is why our Associates will only pick the freshest products available and pack your order with care. Our commitment: 100% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back.*
What if one of the items I’ve ordered is not available. Will substitutions be made?
If the item you ordered is out of stock, we will replace it with a similar item of equal or greater value, free of charge. If you don’t like the replacement, you can reject it for a full refund when you collect your order. If you’d prefer us not to replace unavailable items, you can choose to decline substitutions during checkout.
- 7 I forgot something! Can I change my order?
Yes, as long as you have a Walmart account and are signed in. Go to the product page for the item and select “Add to Next Grocery Pickup”. You can also remove items or adjust item quantities from your order history. Changes can be made up until the day your order is scheduled.
- 8 How do I apply my promo code?
If you’ve received a promo code, you can redeem it with our simple form. An eVoucher will be added to your account for use at checkout.
