[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OH WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY!!! Best cutting board, I have ever used. It is deffinatley solid, and you can use either side to cut on. The size is 18×12×1.25
 To clean it, you can use vinegar or bleach and water. It is not dishwasher safe. The wood can warp in dishwasher, so never put it in there. To maintain the life of it, there is a John Boos mystery oil to apply monthy. It can last many years if taken care of properly. 
  The quality it amazing, and the wood is so smooth to touch. If you don't have one, it should be a staple in your kitchen. You will not regret it!!

The ridge around the border is so helpful for preventing mess and making clean up easy. This board is also versitial, in addition to using it as a cutting board I like to flip it over and used the smooth side as a cheese board. It's the perfect size for all of my needs.
