I considered other similar pans, but finally decided to go with a quality product.
I love the surface, the temperature control, and the fact that the legs fold and can be placed inside the pan to save storage space. 
The pan is finished beautifully on all sides.  I would recommend this pan.

The skillet is great and really like being able to remove just the skillet part for cleaning. Have only had the skillet a couple of weeks so am not sure about long tern durability but from the looks of thee skillet and past experience with the brand am confident of its ability to be durable. The pour spout is a nice touch and makes pouring out liquids a non-messy task.

Great price in comparison to other offers on the web and the home delivery was quicker than estmated.

Exvellentt electric skillet so far

I HAVE OWNED MANY ELECTRIC SKILLETS IN MY DAY. HOWEVER, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE EVER USED. CLEAN UP IS SUCH A BREEZE AND NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRIED, I COULD NOT GET THE BIGGEST MESSES TO STICK TO THIS PAN. IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY AND EVERY HOME SHOULD HAVE THIS PRODUCT. IT'S 100% RATED A 5 STAR PRODUCT IN OUR HOUSEHOLD. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT ALL THE WAY!! KUDOS!! BUY THIS PRODUCT, YOU WILL JUST LOVE IT. IT COOKS VERY TRUE TO THE TEMPS SET TOO.

I purchased this skillet to replace my older Presto Electric Skillet that is probably over 20 years old! The reason for replacing it was the thermostat was getting very hot rather quickly so rather than wait for an accident, I started searching for a replacement. This foldaway skillet is awesome! I love the fact you can store it in less space than other models where the legs are attached. Since they tell you to store the legs inside the skillet, I did decide to place some of that nonskid cushiony shelf liner in the skillet before I store the legs inside, to ensure I don't scratch the nonstick surface. I have only used the skillet once to date, but I LOVE the fact the lid is glass and you can see how things are cooking. There is a little pour spout on one corner which I also like. Not only does it help in removing liquid or grease, but it's a great place to put a serving spoon if you want to put the lid back on and keep things warm! I will caution anyone that has the older Presto that this one is a tad bit wider and a bit deeper as well (an added bonus!). I was not able to store it in the same location as the old one because of the additional width, but that is certainly not a downside to the skillet itself! Just be aware you may have to relocate it even with the folding legs. My only concern is whether or not the tabs you press down on to release the skillet from the legs will hold up over time. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

Presto Electric Foldaway Skillet

Used it for first time over weekend. One of the nicest features is how it cooks evenly. Would not purchase this from the selling point of being a Foldaway as you still have the lid you have to do something with, but the unit works well and is way less expensive through Walmart than through other locations I saw online.

So far, Great

I was looking for a new electric skillet which had even heat throughout. I finally found it with this presto skillet. It is a little large for me and my husband but when the family is all together, this is just what I need. I love the fact I can throw it in the dishwasher to clean. Best of all, I feel the price is well worth it.  Ordering  through Walmart was easy and fast. We were out of town when this order came in. All I had to do was call Walmart and inform them when I would be returning home.  The service department held my order until  we returned. So happy with my choice of going through Walmart.

Good decision

Everything fold up and fit inside of the pan itself. Interesting invention and a great space saver. Product works quickly and distribute heat evenly. The spout on one of the corner helps in draining the grease without hassel. I only own this for a month now, still working like it should, but could not rate it for long term durability.

Great space saver invention.

I have only used this product twice so I feel grossly under qualified to rate this product. That being said, both meals I cooked were fried, greasy meals that required my pan to heat evenly & be big enough to fit a full rack of bacon & constant barrage of eggs. I was not disappointed. Both meals came out beautifully. I love the design of this electric skillet. If for some reason I discover a defect or design flaw, I will update this review.

southern fried cook

This is my second one.  The first lasted maybe a year and a half before the non-stick became very-stick.  In fairness, I think it was how we treated it.  We didn't use metal utensils, but we did clean it with the same thing we wash all our other dishware with:  scotch-brite-type pads.  I tend to think this lead to the deterioration of the non-stick surface.  We really like everything else about this item, thus our re-purchase.

Presto Foldaway Skillet

I was so excited to get this item. It appeared to be a good value but after using it 2 maybe 3 times the "easy clean finish" deteriorated. Maybe it was just this one, but I don't recommend it for that reason. However, it was nice to be able to remove the pan from the heating element and wash it.
