This is ready to use out of the box!  It is sturdy and well made.  I was able to get my hose into the box easily.

Worth the money for the quality.

I was very pleased with this purchase.  It's compact and sturdy.  I've had reels in the past where the handle breaks off easily.  This one has held solid through a lot of use over the summer.

Compact and Sturdy

Overall, it is a nice way to store a garden hose. Simple box made of plastic. It did come with a leader hose which I appreciated. I do wish it were a bit taller as it does require stooping down quite a distance. Being very tall, I find that a long stretch to the ground, almost.

Nice and simple

It is light weight, so it is difficult to roll the hose up without it tipping over. My husband is going to add some weight to the base and that should take care of the problem. It looks great though. All in all, we are satisfied

Pretty nice

I never leave reviews but this hose reel is a joke. It does not hold 100 feet of 5/8 inch hose. Maybe that deflatable hose but not a regular garden hose. I gave it two stars because it looks ok despite not closing when it has 100 foot hose in it. I am buying something else to replace it.
