[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's great...I'm sorry I didn't buy it years ago.
It looks real nice.
It's like a spa...at night you can see the steam floating into the air because the water is about 55°f and the outside temp is 20°f.
The birds honestly don't want to leave it..some just stand in the warm water for several minutes. 
Last night the Temps got down to 4°f and the water didn't freeze even surrounded by inches of snow. 
It holds over half a gallon of water.
CAUTION THOUGH:
When Temps are in teens or lower I don't let the birds bath in it because it is so cold their feathers and wings will freeze or they will get stuck on a branch and freeze on it. 
Really...so I put some object in the water (see pictures) so they can only drink from it.

My 2nd purchase of this heated birdbath -- a back-up one. The 1st is still working 3 years later but this winter is predicted to be colder and longer -- don't want to be without one! Water didn't freeze all winter and even the free-roaming cats and squirrels drink from the birdbath. Only suggestion to Mfg would be make the cord 2 ft longer -- you definately need a short extension cord even when near your outlet. Appearance stays nice but need to "scrub" with vinegar periodically to prevent algae growth. Heartily recommend it to provide water in winter to feathered and furred friends.

Wonderful for providing water for birds when cold

I really like this heated birdbath, I put it on my brick porch. The birds love it, it looks so natural, like a hewn rock outdoors. The heating element works well.

Beautiful birdbath

Perfect gift to my winter visitors. Great design and features.  I love the concrete design looks so real and perfect for our back deck.  After our old one died thid was the best replacement ever.

Winter birds and animals need this

Rough surface is difficult to clean thoroughly but the birds love the warm water in freezing and below temps.  Would by again!

For the birds

The product looks nice but the cord is very short.  In fact, I will need an extension cord even if I place this bath right below the outlet.  Since it's July, I won't know how well the heater works until later this year.

Nice Looking But Cord Is Really Short

I really do love this heated birdbath. I like the natural look of it and how the heat automatically turns off when the outside temp is above freezing. I haven't had any birds bathe in it yet, but the squirrels and deer like to drink out of it, which is great! With that said, I think it is expensive for what it is, basically a plastic bowl with  a sand covering (with glue toxic to animals?). Also I noticed it was draining every couple of days and thought there is no way it could lose that much water between natural evaporation and animals drinking from it. So, I tested it to see if there was a leak by putting it in a bathtub, closing the drain and filling it. Sure enough there was water in the tub, so there was a small leak.

Really like it, but leaks

Doesn't hold as much water as last one of same model.  Birds do not like it after 2 months.   They loved the original one.   Not sure what was changed but I would have preferred one like the original.

It looks like it belongs right outside! Very natural.
Only have it a week now...so far so good.
My only complaint right now would be that it is hard to clean
because the texture of it is so rough.
