[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I considered a lot of different options before settling on this set of everyday dishes. I am very happy with my purchase. The design is simple and classic. The metallic rim detail gives them a touch of elegance (they are safe for the microwave).  I liked many of the color options, but opted for white for its timeless appeal.

I ordered the Gibson blue stoneware with the gold trim. Lovely but dark spots appear on the trim when used in the microwave. Unsightly to see black spots here and there. I'm sure it's areas missed during baking the stoneware. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] all appeared good except 1 bowl out side coating? had a 1" crack. I say coating because it didn't go through to the inside. Also the metal boarder seems to stain if food is not washed right away. Since I don't was dishes every day I rinse %26 put them in the dishwasher until I have a full load, which is a couple of days. I'll check them after I wash next.
