I can see why this ramp has a 5 star rating. This works perfectly for my needs. It fits well with my threshold and doesn't move out of place. It's light enough so that I can remove it at will. Since I suffer from COPD that's important to me. It's strong enough to withstand more weight than I can roll over it with my mobility scooter. This is the best ramp I have found!

I need to figure out a way to keep it from sliding away from the threshold or side to side. It seems to work fine and so far my wheelchair has not slipped on it even when it is wet. But it's one half inch above the brick so that creates a gap (of 4" X 1/2") between the threshold and the ramp. I wish I had looked around for a ramp that fit exactly (up to 3 1/2" instead of 4").

Good, but...

I have been in contact with 2 contractors for a ramp to go inside onto a hard wood floor for my parents. There was a lot of talk about metal on wood and building a wood ramp and the costs just soared! When we started to do our own research, we found the light weight foam ramp that we hoped would work without all the contractor craziness and outrageous costs! We did our own measurements and thought about a custom size, which you do offer, but we went for the standard 4" grey foam ramp and my parents could not be more pleased. It helps my mother with her walker and my father with his cane. I am hoping this is the start of allowing them to stay in their home as they age. Thank you for this product, it TRULY has changed their ability to be fully mobile in their home!

Just what we needed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to use this foam ramp to get in and out of my apartment. I chose this type of ramp because my apartment complex is very anti-disabled so I have to remove the ramp from outside my front door whenever I don't use it. The ramp is light and much easier to move than a metal one!

This is one AWESOME RAMP!

I just received your 5" ramp and it truly is an amazing product. I've always had trouble moving around rubber or aluminum threshold ramps but not this one. My wife - who is pretty old and frail - can even position if for me. Too bad it is a little big to carry around with me so I am going to get one for my daughter's house when I visit the grand kids. Incredibly lightweight and durable

The light weight, ultra sturdy, non-skid surface of the Silver Spring foam Threshold ramp is perfect - Muscular Dystrophy has progressed so now I am at best a wobbly- unstable walker with a cane. This threshold ramp for slow cane walking or electric wheelchair is remarkable. Lightweight, sturdy, no-flex and no slip. If they had a 10 Star rating this deserves it!

THE BEST

I used this ramp to help my arthritic dog get outside to the deck. The step out is 8" and this ramp works perfectly.

Perfect

This ramp required no installation, no drilling into the wall, just lay it down. I have had 2 other ramps and they didn't meet my needs like this one. PERFECT

PERFECT

I am an BKA amputee an the ramp allowed me to get into the garage directly from the house without going outside. Installed it from my wheelchair without any help. Much better than metal ramps which have to rest on the threshold and fit into the door opening. Glad I bought it.

Great Ramp

Ramp fit very well and the measurements were accurate. Wheelchair wheels left a lasting impression on the surface. They don't heal themselves. After much use, the ramp is starting to look bad cosmetically. I think another product would be better for high use areas.

Foam ramp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ramp was well constructed but didn't fit my space as well as I need it to. The return process is proving to be very difficult. Two phone calls to customer service and one email to get it a return label and I'm still waiting. They tell me the return shipping label comes from FedEx directly so it's their issue but they would put in another request. Problem is, there's only a 30 return period. I'm still waiting on the label and hope to get it soon. I considered ordering a different ramp that I felt would work better, however, after the problem I'm having with this return I think I'll be going to another ramp company for my needs.
