Great item, could use some sort of color marking for the headlight bar that connects to the lower half, have to eyeball it to set it straight with the wheel. The 4 pin connector was a pain to connect because the wire was too short inside the headlight part.

perfect for adult commuting or shooting to the grocery store. great. fast enough for this 66 yr old lady with shoulder problems, and crappy vision. easy to put a U lock on, or padded chain lock. it takes a while to get used to how to fold and unfold, but once you're used to it, the folding makes sense. quite heavy to lift if your flabby and out of shape, but a younger chap can carry this quite easier
easily. the brakes are a bit choppy, meaning they kinda' go "thump thump" rather than a smooth slow, but that could just be my being skilled at applying brakes. all in all, this is a perfect mid-level scooter for adults or older teen. the lights that come with it, are bright and easy to apply.  BANG ON!

i like the scooter, its fast enough, i really enjoy it, BUT OMG the battery life sucks sooo bad, its ridiculous, how sucks the battery life is. overall if you are going to use it for long rides, dont buy it, period just dont, but if your trips are short then i would.

Great frame design, very sturdy for how much it weighs. Battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, and I wish there was more torque and top speed. Would much rather ride the razor icon.

Overall
I love the ease of use of this scooter. The range seems to be okay, but need to wait for a few months to see how this performs. First impression of rusts in the stem is not good, but not to a point resulting a return.

Open Box
Not too good actually. I found some rust areas (along the stem), this is unfortunate since I bought the first Razor scooter in 1998 and still has it working great. I bought this mainly due to Razor's quality, but I'm disappointed with the rusts. :(

Ride
The ride is pretty smooth and pretty agile. The standing area is big enough for both feet on it. It's comfortable and not slippery. 

Speed
I noticed the speed is faster when it's fully charge. Top speed becomes lower when the charge drop to about 75%.

Storage
Pretty easy to fold/unfold once you are used to it. You need to wiggle the level a bit to get it unlocked so it folds/unfolds

First month use of Razor E Prime III

On the 2nd use( less than 30 minutes of ride time) the front wheel bearings went out on both of the scooters i got for my kids at Christmas. Will be contacting the company to resolve issue.

Only worth it if you can get it on sale

I purchased this scooter to get around quicker on my college campus. The bike was fine for me either going downhill or over flat land, as well as if I was driving it at night given its extremely bright headlight. However, my first red flag was the brakes.

Compared to handle bar brakes, the electronic brake given can be quite weak. This becomes especially apparent while driving the scooter in inclement weather as the brakes essentially have no use, especially when going down hills.

For the price, I was expecting it to do well with going uphills; $400 is a lot just for a scooter as a college student lol. Unfortunately, it does not handle hills whatsoever; the scooter will come to hault and begin rolling back, even with the brakes used. 

Another flaw I noticed with the scooter is the battery/mileage. The fifteen mile range advertised feels exaggerated considering after each use around campus, the battery is already low (my campus is very small, which says a lot about the battery).

TLDR: if you are looking for a pricey electric scooter that works on mostly flat land, shines brightly at night, and has good name recognition, then this is the perfect one for you. Otherwise, it would be better to look elsewhere, just as I am now going to do.

Should be priced no more than $200

The scooter is nice with good range, speed and pricing. I bought it as gift for my nephew. 
Found out inflating the front wheel is nearly impossible unless I purchase another tool rather then a general bicycle pump. The pin is small with no room to use general bicycle pump to inflate the tire. They could have designed it better.

Nice scooter but difficult to inflate the tires.

Bought it for Xmas.  Rodr it twice before snow and cold temps hit. Tried to use it on the first day of nice weather......and of course it wont turn on.  Scan of the barcode shows it was made in 2020, but purchased in 2025

It stopped working after only a couple months of use
