This keeps my chickens' water thawed most days. Even with heat in the coop the water did freeze when it got past -40 outside, but I expected that since it was tested to -20. I think this water dish is great, saves a lot of work taking water out to the coop several times a day.

i just bought it as a 🎄  gift for the wildlife and feral kitties. that night it was -1 degrees outside and it worked purrr-fectly.  :)
the water is not freezing cold, which i was worried about... it's like a cold warm.. not cold and not warm but in the middle... if i drink it, i would not get a brain freeze. 
the only downside is that the cord is short (i don't have an outside outlet).

We use this to provide water for the birds when the temperature is below freezing. It works well and is very well-made.

It's a very nice unit.  I have had three of them over the last three years and they work great.  I highly recommend them.

This is a large size dish so it doesn't go dry too often. I would give it 5 stars but a light to show it is working would be nice.

When I got this order the box was totally destroyed  and the pet water was broken into a bunch of pieces.  There was no packing around it at all, so it was no wonder the item was in a shambles.
