Unfortunately we had an issue with the seller sending the 2 sleds I ordered, I only received 1, but the kiddos had fun nonetheless.  It worked nicely on steep and medium sized slopes.

My son LOVES this sled. It was the only one that worked in half snow/half grass (not saucers, not tubes) and he zipped down the hill over and over! Works in deep snow, shallow snow, ice, mud, you name it. Ordering another right now!

The best sled we've tried

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live in an area where we get a lot of snow in the winter and we have lots of mountains and hills around our city. Because of that, downhill sledding is one thing that my family really looks forward to each winter. We all really like this foam sled, which I think offers just the right amount of padding. It works well even when the snow is uneven or bumpy. Also, because it's a disk, it's actually quite fast going downhill. And the handles help with controlling and steering so we don't spin around (unless we want to). One feature that is really nice is the padded handles. They're wide and "riveted" in securely, so it's easy to hang on and we also use them to steer, which is easy to do even with mittens or gloves on. The top is foam with a coated surface that seems to be both waterproof and very durable. The bottom has a firm yet pliant shiny plastic surface. I've found that it helps to absorb the shocks and little bumps. Altogether, the disk speeds downhill while allowing us to steer and ride comfortably and safely. It's about 26 inches across so it's sized fine for both adults and kids to use.

Very fun for sledding.

It is lightweight enough to easily carry it up and down the slope and durable enough that it held up very well after a full day of use. My son felt like the king of the mountain on this thing! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am writing this review on the Slippery Racer Downhill Zeus Foam Saucer Sled. This is a great sled. Foam sleds are great because they give you some cushion. And it has a super slick, very thick plastic coating on the bottom. I was impressed how much of a difference that layer made. As a family of 5 that does a ton of sledding every year, we have tried a lot of different sleds. I can honestly say that I feel slippery racer makes the best sleds on the market!
