Build quality and construction could be improved.

Battery door and connections may be prone to damage.

Requires minimal effort for simple operation.

Can last a long time, but may vary in duration and reliability.

Can be affordable, but also steep for some features.

I received in the fall of the year and used it once before the winter.  It is convenient to automatically reel this hose back because hoses are heavy!  You do have to guide it so it will rewind neatly.  Also, I drained the hose and connections and bought a cover so I could leave it in place during the winter.  When winter is over I will leave the next review to see how it holds up in winter.

Love this!  Much better than crappy manual hose reels that get heavy and difficult to turn, tip over and harbors weeds and bugs. Exactly what I was looking for. Slightly bigger overall size but other than that, very pleased. I think Drawer in front is bit of a waste but stays shut once in place

Excellent for winding up hose

It works very well. It lasts, I've had one for several years. The battery generally lasts the entire season. (The leader hose needs to be longer. Minor.)

There is nothing to dislike about this hose reel.  Powerful motor and long lasting battery!  I am surprised how quickly it reels the hose in effortlessly!  The stakes hold box solid to the ground.  Easy to pull the hose out also!  👍

Battery-powered garden hose reel

I like these hose reels so much I bought 2. With a well charged battery, push the foot pedal and reel in your 100 foot hose no problem! Battery lasts 2-3 months on a charge.

Powerwind

i love that i dont have to manually roll the hose up tganks to the battery operated motor. 
but if tgat fails ...i wish the manual  handle mechanism to roll the hose up  was not all  plastic, which seems to be the downfall of the product as it can break quite easily.

Was working just great. However, today the motor started to go on and off periodically. Finally started working normally. I have two others that have worked just fine for the past six months.

Maybe  just a Glick.

The battery will only last long enough for me to wind up half of the hose one time, then it has to be recharged. I have an older version of this hose reel and the charged battery with it lasts for months.

NOT HAPPY

Needs a stronger battery, charged full and only pulled hose in 2-3 times, next time charged 6-8 hours and stopped even before all of hose was wound in one time!
