We purchased this heated water dish for our two beloved cats, and it has been absolutely perfect in our garage. The materials feel high quality and sturdy, and the entire unit feels reliable and dependable. It does not feel flimsy or cheaply made. Even the cord feels durable and well insulated, which is important for a plugged in product.

Incredibly easy to setup, instructions not even needed! 

Even in freezing temperatures, the water stays water and does not turn to ice. That alone makes this worth it. I no longer have to check multiple times a day or break apart frozen bowls. It maintains a steady temperature without overheating, and it gives me real peace of mind knowing they always have access to fresh water.

It is also easy to clean, which makes regular maintenance simple and quick. The size is just right for two cats, with enough capacity without being bulky. This is a high quality product that performs exactly as advertised, and I would absolutely purchase it again.

If you need a water bowl that holds up in minus degree weather this is the one for you. Our winter has been the coldest in years %26 this little beauty has stayed ice free. It is making all the outdoor wildlife have a better life.

The electrical cord has a nice coil of metal around it for protection from animals chewing on it. The water stays warm enough that it doesn't freeze in cold temperatures.

I really like this heated pet dish.  I bought it to water the birds I feed in winter.  It uses only 25watts electric and keeps the water just above freezing.  There isn't a lot of evaporation which I had in heated bird baths.  Much cheaper to use and I don't refill often.  I was concerned about the birds getting water in winter so this is great.  Very, very pleased.  (I think the squirrels and rabbits sneak in and drink too.)

I bought this water bowl for my neighborhood ferral cats and temps have been at -1 to 3 degrees Fahrenheit at night and teens in the day..so far the water has not frozen and I just took a peek and water is good..so far very happy with it and I guarantee so are the cats.😁

Wanted a way to make sure wildlife and neighborhood animals (have a colony of semi-feral cats outside due to a negligent neighbor that I now TNR and manage) had clean drinking water in the colder months. 

Pros: 
-Keeps water from freezing
-Used for an entire winter, didn't set my house on fire.
-Convenient price and size
-Protected Cable

Cons:
-Does not even hold a full water bottle
-Water evaporates or is used up VERY fast
-Fairly short cable

This price is very economical and since I already have it I will likely be using it for a couple of seasons but for anyone looking to purchase I would highly advise getting a larger size as this bowl does not hold enough water for much of anything. Item itself is decent size but that is mostly the plastic and heating element, holds like NO water.

I should have read thermostatically controlled as it does not suit my needs.  I need a bowl that heats as soon as you plug it in which this doesn't and gets warm to the touch which this didn't seem to do.
