The water reservoir and raised insert help with moisture retention, which is good because I don't want to water plants every day. It helps reduce evaporation and keeps plants more evenly moist.
The removable drainage plug is especially useful: keep it closed indoors to avoid mess, open it outdoors to avoid waterlogging.
It is good planter but the price high compared to basic pots. It's more expensive than simple planters without a self-watering system so I hope it's worth.
