It is made from a semi hard plastic and comes with a detachable snap off bottom.  It has small holes to allow drainage so your plants, fruit or succulents don't ruin from too much water.  It looks great and easy to transfer it inside for the Winter months.

I'm using this to replace one made with wood that unfortunately has not stood the test of time. Living in sunny Florida can be challenging.
