The color is a dark walnut, and i wanted this to go with my vanity in my bedroom. They look so nice together and I live that fact that it swivels so I can go back and forth.

When I removed everything from the box I was in absolute awe of the detailed workmanship and flawless design. From the nailhead trim to the feel of the immaculate leather and the luster of the wood, this stool could be considered a work of art. I was even further pleased at its comfort and usability. It swivels so smoothly and the seat has such a nice firmness to it as well. Maven Lane knocked it out of the park with style, design, quality, and comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Maven Lane carved swivel counter height stool is beautiful and versatile enough to be used in more than just the kitchen. I have an antique carved vanity table that did not have a matching stool however the Maven Lane Pullman stool fit the bill perfectly. It looks lovely next to my vanity table and fits under it perfectly. I love that the seat is large with a smooth swivel operation. This would look great whether used in a kitchen or bathroom.

Comfortable and Versatile

It was a beautiful color brown as well. They are very sturdy so being heavier set I can still sit on it comfortably. It has designs on the legs that look nice as well. It was very  easy to follow directions as well so thats why the installation was so easy.

I was unhappy with the strong chemical smell the stain or varnish gave off, so I put it outside to air out. The materials are okay, but wish the quality was a bit better.
