My original Boss Audio System CHxxxx 200Watt speakers sound fine and are holding up good with the updated CarPlayer brand headunit from China with it's supposed 60x4 channel built in amp. While I couldn't use the oval shape speakers they probably sound just a good and will last a lifetime if you take care of them and not blow them out. 

There are better speakers on the market with better response range and constant power delivery but if your not using a external amp then these will probably never stop working, but you can hook them up to an external amp if you desire. Now if my radio dies again I'll know that these speakers are not the problem but are to powerful for my cheap crackerjack head units and will burn the built in amp out at high volume. To save that from happening I just don't turn already loud sounds up to max anymore. Just putting this out there in case someone else experiences sound distortion and can't understand why. It's not the speakers fault, so if your looking for general replacement speakers for factory or after market car radios these should work but check your watt output in the radios manual to be sure you can use these with out an external amp.

Great sound for a reasonable price

MY 99 cavalier rear speakers were gone so I found these at a good price. The speakers came with plastic covers I did not need and mounting nut bolt set that would work.
However, I chose to drill out the mounting holes so I could install slightly larger bolts.
The speakers fit standard 6X9 openings. Used the enclosed speaker wires and cut and 
spliced them into the stock wires. Happy with my purchase.

Great value, Great price

I have a lot of experience with speakers. These didn't sound phenomenal at first. (Though still way better than the factory speakers cars come with.) I was gentle on them for about a week (mid/mid-high volume only) and once they were broken in I could crank on them and they could handle it easy w/ excellent sound. Highly recommended for the price.

A MUST BUY PRODUCT

For the price, these are excellent!! I have an older car whose speakers were blown. I didn't want to spend a ton of cash. These installed quickly and easily. The sound quality is very good for a low price speaker. The construction quality is very well too. With the built in tweeters you get a wide range of sound. It's a win win...

Boss CH6930

Very nice for the money.

I recently upgraded the speakers in my 2001 Lincoln. Used Jenson and Pioneer.

the quality of these is not appreciably lower.

Great Boom for the Buck

These sound excellent for the money.If your used to higher end speaker or if you like to crank your music you will be dissatisfied as the sound quality is excellent at medium to medium high volumes. they would be a great replacement for factory equipment.

Purchased to replace blown factory speakers in Toyota Camery. Had to redrill mounting holes in rear shelf, as Toyota speakers has odd three hole bolt pattern. Not a real big deal as getting to them was a tad aggravating but all this was necessary anyway to get to speakers. Speakers sound good and should outlast factory replacements which would cost more. Great price and I am very satisfied with the product.

Boss Audio 6" X 9" 3-Way Chaos Speakers vs Factory

Im not giving it 5 stars because it didnt fit my car which was my fault i guess but when i looked up what size goes in my car it said 6x9 and because the plastic face plate for the speaker cracked within 5 min of me handling it! Gently i might add !! But i hooked them up anyway and have them in my back seat seatbelted in at the moment i plan on making a box for them ! They sound nice tho

good speaker for the money

Installation was a breeze and the speakers fit perfectly. They look wonderful compared to the stock GM speakers I pulled out and they deliver surprisingly good sound. The face plate (which I didn't need to use anyway because they went in my back seat under the carpet) broke as soon as I took it out... not very strong on that end. Great speakers otherwise!

Not bad for the cost.

Great sound, loud and strong bass. But it didnt come with a wiring harness so unless you know what your doing by a wiring harness as well. But great product, works amazing with my system! And great price!

Love it

Product was OK, not exactly what I expected.  I don't like the use of multiple emails to review all aspects of order.  I probably will not use online ordering again, I would prefer to pay the shipping and give a fake email.
