The 4WCBM Series Waste Containers are the only bottom mount units available with the Rev-A-Shelf® patented Rev-A-Motion® soft-open soft-close slide system. The innovative gas spring assisted soft-open allows the unit to open smoothly and the soft-close shuts softly, even under the heaviest of loads.  

All units feature metallic silver waste containers and built-in door-mount brackets and many have a removable wood bin in rear for bag storage. The 4WCBM is easy to install with only (5) screws and features a beautiful dovetail constructed frame, concealed 150 lb. slides for a clean look. 

Double check your cabinet's opening (inside dimensions) to allow the best fit. Measure side to side (width), front to back (depth or length), and top to bottom (height). Double check to make sure your product is within measurements and don't forget to take into account any obstructions (plumbing, hinges, etc.). My husband installed it within 20 minutes like it said once he made sure he had everything he needed. It closes softly, so there are no pinching fingers. On one hand it's very convenient and a huge help being close to the sink and it's nice to have it tucked away and not visible.  But on the other hand, we can't bring ourselves to attach our cabinet door to the brackets that help pull out the trash can.  It's too awkward to have just one door function that way and the handle is on the side so we decided to just install and take the brackets off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Rev-a-shelf pullout trash can insert (model 4wcbm-15-dm-1) is a game-changer for my kitchen! I was tired of wrestling with heavy trash bags and the constant banging of the cabinet door. This system is a dream come true.

First off, this thing is built like a tank. The construction is incredibly sturdy, and I have no doubt it will outlast me in the kitchen. Installation was surprisingly easy, thanks to the clear and concise instructions. Even someone with limited DIY skills like myself could handle it.

The soft-close mechanism is a lifesaver. No more slamming cabinets and startling the dog! It's a small detail, but it makes a huge difference in the overall kitchen experience.
I also love the clever design that includes a space behind the trash can. It's perfect for storing extra bags, and I've even used it for a small recycling bag.

The only "negative" (and it's not really a negative) is that you absolutely must measure your cabinet carefully before ordering. I spent a few minutes double-checking, and it fit perfectly.

Overall, I'm incredibly happy with this product. It's a high-quality product that adds functionality to my kitchen.
