With the appearance of a traditional wooden barrel, the slim-line design of the FCMP Outdoor wood grain rain barrel makes it perfect for locations where a larger barrel would be intrusive. The shallower depth and flat back allow for easy installation and placement of the downspout while the safety rib in the top of the barrel keeps it child and pet safe. 

Spigots on the side of the barrel allow you to connect multiple rain catcher barrels in series for easy expansion of your rainwater storage capacity. The corrosion-proof debris screen keeps out debris to keep the water clear.

Place them around your home to catch fresh chlorine-free water as it pours from your downspouts - water that would otherwise make its way into storm sewers only to be wasted. Rain barrels not only save you money but lessen the strain on water resources. This barrel is not suitable for freezing temperatures. Larger than anticipated

Real nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting some thing to collect rainwater to water my plants with because where I am at there's been a drought and I've been trying to do my part in saving water in and this is so perfect not only does the collect water, but it has a little attachable hose and a spout. The wood grain color matches perfect with my apartment. It's so easy to install the rain gutter fits perfectly and I love how it's rectangle because it fits in the corner of my apartment building better and it doesn't stick out as much awesome product. I really love it.

Best thing that I've got all year

I live in Florida where it is very hot and  my plants tend to wilt due to heat and lack of rain.. this was perfect.. there is a grate on top to catch leaves so the water inside stays clean.  I collected rain and was able to use it for all my rose bushes. It even has a handy hose with a cut off valve.

Simple to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a Great way to collect rain water. It's not as big as other containers on the market. The color meshes well with my color scheme on my patio. It is installed with a drainpipe diverter, so the water from the roof runs into it when it rains. The down side is the plastic hose holder  it pops out of its hole when I try to take the hose out on occasion. It does have a function that allows yo to connect other containers to each other. To expand if you wanted to later.

Great way to collect rain water

I had to purchase a longer hose to reach the garden but completely understandable. I'm overall I am very happy with this product.

Heavy duty

The debris shield on the top has held up good. I try and clear it off daily by someone who's there and it's getting the job done.

Yes it's made of plastic, yes it is cheaply made. My roommate put this together with ease and set it outside under the eave of the house and noticed that it had a pinhole leak by base of the spigot, she tried to put some super glue on it, but it didn't work.
