[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this scooter.  It is so much fun to ride.  It comes mostly put together.  Took about 15 minutes to finish assembling.  It took me a few minutes to realize the charger and tools were located inside the seat.  After that it was a breeze.  It goes around 20 mph and seems pretty fast.  Charges quickly. The headlight and brake light are great features.  Really like the LED display, which shows how fast you are going.  The whole family enjoys riding it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Razor EcoSmart Cargo scooter is an ideal commuter option, providing a smooth ride to get you where you need. The set-up only took a couple minutes, adjustments to the seat was easy and an overnight charge ensured it was ready to head to the park the next day. The scooter starts and runs by hand controls similar to a motorcycle, with its throttle and brake system. This may take a little getting used to for some. 

This scooter has some serious power, especially at the highest speed. I was surprised and very impressed. The recommended age of 18 and up is accurate in my opinion. This was ridden for about 30 minutes changing speeds throughout and it still had battery remaining. I am not in a position to ride this to work every day, but if it was a viable option, I would. I am able to run errands with this and it is a fun, speedy alternative.

The display side buttons are pressed to turn on/off the scooter as well as the front LED headlight and rear brake light. The display also allows you to increase and decrease speed. It also displays the current speed and battery life of the scooter. The display is easy to access and utilize. 

The scooter is meant to be used on paved surfaces as there is no suspension on this scooter. The brake system is a rear disc brake. The brake system works, but the pad is small and you can't make sudden stops. Once you get a feel for the scooter and its five speeds, the braking system is easier to work with and understand. 

The convertible rack system allows you to use the back seat to carry a second passenger (300 pound weight limit on the scooter) in conjunction with the push down foot pegs. There is a small storage access in the passenger seat. You can also attach the basket for larger items or keep the back section of the scooter bare and use it as a cargo rack. All hardware for these systems are included. 

This scooter is fun, practical and eco-conscious. The battery life is sufficient for medium distance travels to get you where you need to go.

Surpasses expectations

This scooter is the best thing I could have ever bought as a supplement for runs to close hunting spots. Was more affordable than a full size golf cart. I purchased one for myself and one for my 21yo son, while husband uses golf cart for heavy equipment and deer harvesting. Batteries hold up better than expected. We travel a widely used back road and headlight and brake lights are helpful added features. Basket is great for scent sprays and other necessities. I had a deer walk right passed it and never saw it due to it's colors. I intend to make a waterproof cover for them. Absolutely have recommended it to my hunting friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves our new Razor EcoSmart Cargo electric scooter!! It is a fun way for teens and adults to get around quickly, easily,  and efficiently. There was minimal assembly required and the necessary tools were included to get the job done. Once assembled, the only problem was deciding who rides first!  It's nice that it can seat two riders at a time. When you have the extra passenger seat installed, there is a little storage spot underneath the seat where you can keep money, keys, cell phone, etc. But I also I like that you can easily convert from a backseat to a metal basket. This provides versatility for either riding around with an extra person or carrying larger items in the basket. When the  basket is installed, there is more than enough space for a computer bag, backpack, or a grocery bag. If you are close to work, going to the local store, or riding between classes, this is a wonderful option! 
I will also say I was surprised how fast this scooter can go. My husband was able to go up to 21 mph and that was with my son on the backseat. This is a powerful scooter that can get you around without having to “fill the tank” with gas. It is also able to go uphill without too much power being drained. It's eco-friendly since there is no gas needed and can be charged to capacity in about 5-6 hours. We are able to ride this for about an hour before it has to be recharged again. Added features are the headlight to use for when it gets darker and also the back brake light blinks rapidly when the hand brake is applied.  There is a LED dashboard display which shows how fast you are going and how much battery is left.  From this dashboard you can choose 5 different speeds plus turn on the headlight. This electric scooter is not only very versatile but it is A LOT of fun to ride!  This makes a great gift that the whole family will love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off and I suppose most importantly this thing is quick but stable and a joy to ride.  The battery is plenty big for day to day use and recharging is quick and easy.  The ability to include a second rider or carry cargo is a welcome bonus.  The controls are convenient and intuitive while the base feels solid and sturdy.  As someone who is relatively new to this kind of transportation I was quickly confident zipping around my neighborhood.

Overall this thing is a joy to ride, remarkably useful for quick errands and single handedly making me wish I lived closer to downtown so it could be my daily commuter.  Would and will happily recommend to friends looking for something similar.

Tons of Two Wheeled Fun!

After trying for 4 months to get this product, I have an eco-smart Metro I've been riding for 4 years and thought it was time for an upgrade, I was finally able to find one on-line and purchased it. Even with poor reviews about noisy motor and poor brake, I found these complaints a little over exaggerated, and was still pleased with overall quality of product. The scooter is heavy-duty and well-built, has strong motor and very good tires. I would buy this product again and hope it becomes available again soon. Thank you

A nice ride and well-made. But needs better breaks and a top speed of 25 MPH.

We should have a front brake and a better rear disc brake . Also should be able to swap the handlebars on the scooter.  And should be able to add  saddle bags on it . Along with a brother front head light and some turn signals on it . And give it a lot better range of travel be awesome got one these for door dashing and unfortunately the 16.5 mile range doesn't allow me to be able do much . So it gets sued to make runs to the grocery store and back or to school and back when I don't need use my car .  So if there was a way to upgrade the range and had better brakes including the front brake being added and could have saddle bags in it be awesome . Along with the aforementioned handle bars being able to be swapped out instead of the kick scooter t bar .

Upgrades needed and it be better

I reviewed this hunk of junk once previously and Razor took the review down.  In summation, other than the aesthetic, this is an absolute engineering failure.  Do not purchase this product.  Razor will be liquidating these at any time.
