Used as directed.  May have dropped values, difficult to tell from the test strips I have. 
Took sample to the pool store, and the reading was close to the same as last time (3 weeks).  Don't see this as a long term fix for cyanuric acid.  My only choice now is to switch to NST.

On 2nd bag.  Def should have purchased larger one to start.  Only dropped CYA level 20 points with first bag.  Will see what 2nd bag does...

Sort of works?

Went to pool store, cyanuric acid was too high at 148.  Bought 16 oz.   Followed instructions to the letter.  Let pool go greenish due to lower santizer and higher ph.  Figured it must be working!  But it was not.  Six days later acid tested at 175 at pool store.  Pool store told me no chemical can reduce too much cynuric acid, only drain to dilute.  Guess I bought some sea snake oil -- hoping Walmart will help me get my money back.

Sounds too good to be true -- it is (do not buy)

I've conducted a controlled test with an 8 oz of bioactive CYA reducer in a 5 gallon bucket. After several hours and days there was no change in CYA. Free chlorine level 2 ppm. I've also used it in the pool with Zero Effect. I've purchased 4 pouches, what a waste of money.

Don't buy it. It won't work. No refund / return

did not work I was told that these products do not work But had to find out for myself.  Save your money.

Did not see a change in my Cyanuric acid level.   It would be a great idea if it worked. Waste of money.

Great idea if it worked

This doesn't work much at all to change your pool water.  I was told this but I sent for it anyway and boy I shouldn't have and it's very costly for doing nothing.

Followed instructions perfectly. Had water tested professionally several times. 
 Product failed to perform as promised.
Cyanuric acid level didn't go down at all!

Don't waste your time and money!

I have a 26,000 gallon in ground pool. I was told that one bag of the reducer would help reduce the cynauric acid down enough to get rid of purple algi.  It took a month to get the package in the mail but when I got it the reducer did not help.  I am trying to waste water by bypassing my filter to get rid of the purple algi and it seems like it is working better than the reducer.

Do not buy!!!

It works as advertised.  It is expensive, but it is a lot easier than draining half the pool.
