If you want to build the Star Trek TOS Enterprise, but do not have the money to buy the 1/350 scale model to build.  This model size (1/1000 scale) is the perfect size to build and put on your bookshelf.  And the Botany Bay model, you can add to the production version of this model, or omit the Botany Bay model if you want to build the production version by itself.
