When our ramps arrived the rather flimsy box was damaged and taped together. Upon unpacking we found that one ramp was gouged and that the upper end was bent straight so that it did not fit flat on the top step. However, we were still able to use it successfully to get my husband to his doctor's appointment. We sent photos to the customer service rep who very promptly replaced the damaged ramp with a perfect one. These ramps work great. Were light enough for my daughter to place and quite secure even without drilling a hole and using the pin. They are now propped along the baseboard of the garage ready for the next time we need them.

I cannot say enough about this product!!! We were looking for a way to get my 93 year old, wheelchair bound mother out for family events. With the cost of renting a handicap accessible car so high ( about $155) a day, we only rented one for very special occasions which meant she did not get out as much as we would have liked. Then one day I found your product on the internet and it seemed too good to be true, that we could wheel her right into our mini van with just taking the seats out. Needless to say, with the purchase of your ramps about the same as a one day handicap car rental, we take her out all the time now. They are so easy to use and easy to lift. She is so happy to be able to go out whenever she wants. I tell everyone who sees us about your great product!! I wish the assisted living place had told us about you years ago---all you need is a minivan. It has really made a difference to our whole family that great-grandma gets to come out all the time.

Great- Grandma's freedom

I purchased these ramps to load my son's motorized wheelchair in the back of my Honda Odyssey mini van. They are lightweight so I can manage them on my own and there is flexibility with how they can be stored in the van. My only drawback, if you will, is that it is hard to line the wheelchair wheels up with the ramps and then keep the wheelchair going straight up the ramps. That is user error and no reflection on the ramps! I wanted this kind so I could lift them and store them easily, but it is difficult to maneuver the chair on the ramps since I have to walk behind/beside the chair to get it in. A year from now, I hope to be a pro! Ha Ha!

Telescoping ramps

These fit nicely in the back of our MercedesGLE Floor at 5'. Once outside the SUV, extend to 10'. Strong and sturdy. Make sure your scooter has about 3" ground clearance to roll over the ramp side rails. Lower ground clearances will catch and scrape on the side railing lip.

Nice solution for accessing SUV's

I have an Eagle HD folding electric wheelchair that only weighs about 60 pounds but is too heavy for me to lift into the cargo area of my Toyota Prius. I researched a number of options before I chose these track ramps. Winch lifts won't fit the hatch opening and platform lifts are not recommended because Toyota discourages hitches on the Prius. My only real option was a portable ramp. I was concerned that a folding "suitcase" style ramp would be too heavy for me to manipulate myself. These track ramps work surprisingly well. I chose the 4' to 7' model. The ramps fit nicely inside the cargo area with the back seat folded. I just slide out and extend each ramp then push the (empty) upright wheelchair by walking between the ramps. As I get to the top, I can easily collapse the wheelchair (like a stroller) and push it the rest of the way into the cargo area. Then I push the "close" latch on the side of each ramp and push it into the cargo area next to the folded wheelchair. On the floor of the cargo area I have an old blanket on which I marked the placement of the ramps at the edge of the hatch opening. Even without clamping or securing the ramps to the car or the ground, I've never felt them shifting under the weight of the chair. This may not be quite as convenient, but it costs a fraction of what a wheelchair lift would cost and allows me to transport the chair inside the vehicle. Plus, the ramps are portable and can be moved to other vehicles or used over curbs and stairs. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Works great getting my wheelchair into a Prius

We bought this ramp for our wheelchair bound young daughter. It is sturdy, well built and reliable. We use it to wheel her chair out of the house into he garage. We bought the 5' that extends to 10'. It is light weight that makes it easy to move a couple times a day. We have a tall garage and just leave it telescoped out, yet it is still light weight enough that it is easy for me as mom to lift. The telescoping feature works wonderfully but is not effortless enough to be done several times a day. It's not a draw back, just notable. We like it too because having it in two pieces rather than one wide ramp, it is more light-weight, and easier to pack into our minivan when needed.

Telescoping wheel chair ramps

Great buy, great costumer service

Only 2 locking settings

Ramp is great, well built and functions well. HOWEVER, be carful to measure your chair's wheel foot print. The ramps are narrow between the rails. The Permobil C500 and C300 chairs have off-sett rear swivel tires. What happens is you can't get the front wheels into the track at the same time as the rear wheels. If the ramps were 5" wider, they would be perfect.

Doesn't work for Permobile front drive (C300, C500) chairs.
