I was looking for a fan that I could use while I was sleeping because of hot flashes that I experienced at night. I was very pleased at how quiet it was and how well the airflow was distributed. It , for me, is definitely quiet enough to sleep through. I give this purchase a definite thumbs up!

Lasko 10" Fan

I just needed a small, quiet fan for my work area to create a breeze. This fan, alike most Lasko fans is just what I needed. It is a nice size, not too small nor too big. Very quiet, even on high setting, puts out a good amount of air. Wouldn't purchase any other brand of fans.

Lasko fans are always worth it!

We bought 2 of these fans about 5 or 6 years ago. They run almost constantly. We use it as a fan and as a "sound machine". We just had to replace one of them as the motor went. We would only buy this one as it lasted very long, was very durable, and makes a great sound.

Great fan at a great price.

this fan consists of an all plastic enclosure making the unit extremely light and portable. The fan has two speeds on the back of the unit. Length of cord is adequate. The value of the buy rates five stars. The only detractor is that the high speed is not really a blasting speed, and other fans push more air. This is the ultimate fan for a quiet freak because it pushes adequate air and does so with a whisper with enormous value.

Light

I bought an smaller similar fan about 5 years ago for $7 and it finally quit on me. This fan is a little more but well worth the money. I love that you can tilt it up so it doesn't blow directly on you. Whisper quiet. Half the time I am not sure it is one. I have never had to used the high speed. A great buy!!

Great to brind fresh air into home

I ordered this fan for my desk because I was hoping since it was 10 inches it would really cool well. I was disappointed that the fan only had 2 speeds, high and low. I expected it to have at least 3 speeds because it was a larger fan. It does an okay job but I have seen several other fans on your website since I got this one that have 3 speeds and cost less than what I paid for this one.

This is a very low velocity fan.  It certainly should not be called a Breeze Machine.  The one I replaced it with - now that was a breeze.  I have this thing on hi and I have to keep checking to make sure it is on.  If was supposed to be for my exercise room.  This is too substandard for that purpose.  I will put it in the bath room to help clear out the steam after I shower.  I really regret this purchase!

Not a Breeze; more like a little Blow

I had screw together before using. Screws had not been assembled correct. There are supposed to be 4 rubber shoes or plugs on bottom. Only 3 were present and 1 kept falling out. Just removed all 3 of 4 sent. LOL Didn't pay much so wasn't expecting much. It does blow air after assembly. :D

Get what ya pay for

Worst fan ever! Worked great the first week and then all of a sudden after being turned on the lowest for about 5 mins it would start to speed up on its own and sound like it was about to take off. Barely could feel any air come out of it, super loud!

Worst fan I have ever bought.

I would definitely pass on this fan. Lasko is a good brand that I have trusted in the past and have other fans from this company with no problems.
This fan however is awful, it lasted for only 1 hour maybe then while it was on low it sounded like it was going to take off in flight. The motor went super sonic speed with no air flow and then went low again and then it was running this way no stopping. I returned to the store the following day.

Pass on this fan!
