Ease Of Assembly

Shade

Made with a durable material allowing easy canopy removal.

Directions are unclear and require close attention for assembly.

This is a great product for the price. Took a little time to put together but works great. i had to call manufacturer because I was short 1 leg part and they sent one out to me within a couple of days. Good company and good product.

walmart.com

I love this and have 3 put together to cover my whole porch ..I just wish it was easier to buy replacement tops.

Great but hard to order replacement tops

shelterlogic.com

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both products are just as advertised. Surprisingly the canopy is even more sturdy than I expected.

I have a balcony that is 6'6 10'2 and this was the only gazebo I could find that would fit. I'm really impressed with us construction. It was a little tight putting it together out there but I managed. It's light enough not to put stress on the balcony but heavy enough the wind won't take it. I also used ratchet straps to hold it down.

I'm happy with it and would recommend it to anyone.

Great little gazebo

Ordered 2 of these at same time. 1 got delivered within a week and the other got "lost" by the delivery company. And apparently they are in no rush to find it. The one that we got is perfect. I'm hoping the other one will show up before the snow does.

Ordered 2 got 1

Well made and a its so nice to have a cover on my front porch.

Great door covering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to setup. Be aware of the brackets that connect the legs as they are different to allow the canopy to have the tilt. There is a slight sag in the middle of the frame, but I can live with it.

Decent canopy that is easy to setup.

Had been looking for a good while to find a gazebo that would fit my MIL's narrow deck. This one was the PERFECT size! Definitely need two people to assemble it as it's very sturdy! The leg posts were a bit of a challenge as the holes that were drilled for the bolts that go through, weren't finished off that well and left little burrs inside. This made it a real challenge to get the two pieces of the leg posts to fit inside each other but with a little persuasion and some good knocks with a hammer, it eventually went. It was well worth it too. The construction is sound and the canopy will be super easy to remove for winter as it is held on with small bungees with large beads on one end that just go through the grommet and around the pole and then slip over the bead (similar to a child's hair tie with the two beads on either end)! My MIL loves it and says, "it's a keeper"! Whew!

Very sturdy - perfect size!

Advice for future buyers: If you are someone who tends to want to jump ahead and figures things out without directions often, know that on this project it is imperative to look at the step by step. The numbered parts matter hugely where they are placed even though it may not seem so at the start.

To those who complained about wonky or bent pieces not being as they should be, I would bet you missed something in the steps/numbered pieces. Once you have the top portion put together it's going to look like things are bent or not pointing the direction they should be and that's simply because of how the slant of the top was designed so don't get discouraged.

This was a fairly easy project to put together. I'm a woman in my forties and I did most of it by myself, only bringing my husband out when it was time to get it raised up and in the right location of our concrete porch. I had a couple of times I had to undo and redo parts that I got overly confident I knew where they went and it ended up being wrong but other than that really not hard at all to do. The measurements of this canopy ended up being the absolute perfect size for what my husband needed over his grilling area. The polyester top doesn't let the rain drop through but I can already see that over time water dripping through will be an issue we will need to address. We will probably end up adding a more solid roof to it like corrugated metal down the road but for now it is serving its purpose well.

I don't expect this unit to last but maybe a few years. To help insure that we anchored it down well into our concrete slab but I think given the thickness of the steel it won't hold up in the constant elements longer than around 5 years before rust sets in and possibly becomes an issue. That's my only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 but for the price I think it's a great solution for shade over just about any outdoor space.

And just a side note, I know it's technically designed to go the other direction so you don't see the underneath of the top when standing in front of it but we wanted it this way to help form a bit of a privacy barrier between us and our neighbor.

Save yourself time and read the instructions

Very sturdy canopy. Was not difficult to put together but took some time to get it done. We attached the high side to the house above the back door and used the longer legs for the lower side. I was a little worried how this would work but it ended up working great.

Nice canopy

I am very disappointed with this item: legs are not straight as shown on this picture, they go inwards and outwards. I like to return it, but my husband is giving me very hard time because it is not easy to reassemble it and it will take half a day.

I wish I could describe my disappointment better
