Which fabrics can be steam ironed? 
Steam ironable fabrics are similar to ironable fabrics. Be sure to check the care label for iron-on compatibility and temperature recommendations. 
Ideal steam fabrics include cotton, linen, and certain synthetic fabrics such as polyester. 
Be careful when steaming delicate fabrics such as wool, silk, chiffon, and velvet, and do not use the brush attachment. Check the care instructions and consider steaming from the underside of the fabric. 
Additionally, waxed jackets, suede, and materials that melt easily, such as plastic, leather, or items that are dry clean only, should not be steamed. 
 
notes: 
Please note that this product is used in 110-120V countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, and Japan. We therefore recommend not to use the steamer in countries where the voltage exceeds 110 volts. 
This product is used under 220V-240V voltage in Europe and the United Kingdom. Therefore, we recommend not to use the garment steamer in countries where the voltage exceeds 220V.

How to Steam Clothes 
1. Make sure the water tank is filled to the top line. Low concentrations can damage the steamer. Excessive levels can cause water spray. 
2. Plug in the steamer. When the light on the appliance comes on and steam is produced, it&#39;s ready to go. 
3. Pull the garment taut from the bottom, then gently move it up and down, section by section. Keep the steamer spout moving; avoid leaving it in one place. When steaming, never turn the appliance upside down or at an angle of more than 45 degrees. 
4. After steam ironing, let the clothes dry and style before wearing to wrinkles from appearing again. 
For stubborn wrinkles, steam the area for up to 20 seconds, allowing the steam to loosen clothing fibers, eliminating wrinkles and odors. 
Note on steaming: Avoid holding the steamer basket too tightly, which can create new creases. 
Should you use distilled or tap water? 
Always check the garment steamer manufacturer&#39;s instructions. Use distilled water if prescribed. 
If you live in an area with hard water, it is recommended that you use distilled water. Hard water can leave white flakes of mineral deposits and can cause the machine to clog. If you live in an area with running water, you can fill the steamer with tap water.
