Such a great help! My Mama is 90, and we preserve food together. She wasn't able to use a regular pressure canner without me. The Presto pressure canner has filled that gap wonderfully! The peace of mind in knowing that, once started, I don't have to sit and watch a pressure gauge and constantly adjust heat to keep the canner going is such a blessing! I also love the water bath feature!!! We have been immensely pleased with the Presto Electric Pressure Cooker!

The Presto 12 qt pressure canner is a nice size. This new model lid threw me for a loop when I couldn't get the lid to seal correctly (sealing ring used to fit in the lid, now it sits on top of the inner pan), I finally saw the little yellow piece of paper included explaining how the sealing ring fit. This information isn't in the manual. Overall I like this canner very much, it's easy to use and holds enough jars for my needs. I hope this new model (08) lasts longer than the 07 model (2 years) but I use my canner a lot, maybe they're not ment for so much use, I'll see.

My  new Presto electric canner is so much easier to use than my old stove top canner.  I don't have to stand there though the process and babysit the canter.  I strongly recommend this Presto electric canner, you won't be disappointed just  follow the detailed  instructions.

First time canning... The only thing I didn't like, is instructions need to tell you: After heating your jars in the canner, to pour out the jars water before filling, into the sink not into the canner.  Canner ended up too full of water, so didn't seal and I had to can them over. Not fun. Cuz you have to empty jars, Reheat contents and complete whole process over. Otherwise canner is great. Canned homemade cat food.  What a long process.

Great Presto Precise Digital canner that doesn't require you to watch it or listen to a jiggling weight  constantly to maintain pressure in order to maintain the temperature needed to safely can food.  Very little human interaction is needed other than putting water in, filling your jars and turning a knob or pushing a button a few times.  Did I say you no longer have to stay in the kitchen watching a gauge, or listening to a rattle, to adjust your stove to keep that pressure where it is supposed to be to maintain the temperature needed to can safely??!!!  It is awesome!  The canner monitors temperature to adjust the pressure automatically to maintain the correct  temperature for the amount of time required to safely can food.  This canner takes a lot of the human possibility of error out of canning.  You won't have to worry about being interrupted and wondering if the pressure dropped.  I know I sound like a Presto spokesperson but I have no affiliation with them at all other than I bought this canner in July 2023  and love it.  The USDA has provided guidelines, specifications, and requirements canners must meet to safely can food at home.  From my research the Presto Precise digital canner is made to the specifications, guidelines, and requirements set out by the USDA for safety in home processing/canning food.  I love that it actually monitors and maintains the temperature required to can food safely. Also, excellent customer service and a guarantee!!

Excellent Presto Precise digital canner

I am back to canning with ease. I am older and the regular pressure cooker was making me a little nervous. Rule of thumb, never be nervous with a pressure cooker. Using the water bath method was too heavy for me now, and I have an old glass top stove. This pressure canner is the answer to my problem and much easier. Thank goodness 👍

I have always been terrified of a pressure canner. I had one blow up as a teenager. But this thing is perfect. I am canning everything I can think of. Beef stew, salsa, taco soup etc. I absolutely love it. And you don't have to babysit it. Just set it and walk away.

Excellent automatic autoclave, but I am very disappointed that I can not cook directly in the tank (for example a frozen turkey, then put it in jars).

Does not allow cooking in the appliance

This digital pressure canner is well made and came with good instructions. I do not like that it is not a cooker. It is heavy and due to its height is a little bit of a challenge for someone with joint problems. I realize this canner is for people who do not do a lot of canning. It would be nice if the warming the jars function could be bypassed.

A little awkward

This outfit is the poorest excuse for a company I have ever dealt with. Just read there poor reviews. They do not get back to you lie about delivery date give false fedex tracking number! Hope I can get my money back. Paid with pay pal, when ordering I thought I was ordering thru Walmart and if they have anything to do with this outfit they should ditch them immediately same goes for pay pal!
