Whether you are slicing bread, carving meat, mincing herbs, or simply chopping veggies, this set will have the perfect knife on hand to accommodate those needs. Included in this chef knife set are six standard steak knives, a slicing knife, a santoku knife, a utility knife, a boning knife, and a pairing knife. Shears are included for opening tough food bags or snipping herbs. And a block comes as part of this set as a handy place to keep everything in the set neatly together. The blades of each knife are made from stainless steel, with non-slip handles that provide a comfortable grip. Hand wash to clean.

The set is very light but so far the knifes are cutting well. It's a nice size it dosen't take up a lot of space in the kitchen.

Love my knife set I'm glad they had my favorite color red matched everything in my kitchen

I love the color.  The handles match my silverware perfectly.  The picture handles, and what you actually get are totally different.  The picture make it look like it's a wooden handle look.  It is not.  It is more of a plastic look, like the cheap silverware you find at the dollar store.  But, it works for me.  What I didn't like about it, was the scissors  handle.  It looks like the plastic  of kids scissors.  However, I went to the dollar store and bought a pair of Betty Crocker scissors that had a white handle, with red lining inside of the handle.  They go perfectly with the set.  I gave my old knives to my neighbor, and gave the scissors to a different neighbor for her to use for craft items and for her kids to use, as well.  Outside of that, I will keep these knives, because they seem to be pretty sharp.  If your a Chef, or a lover of cooking, I would not recommend this product.  If your a Senior, or a student, or a couple starting out with a limited income, these are the knives for you.  I like them.

Reasonable priced.  Good starter knives.

They look very nice, or else I'd give less than three stars.  The biggest problem is that all of the blades are serrated, including the larger chef's knife.  I was not aware of this before I bought them.  If you put too much pressure on some of the knives, you can feel the tang coming up inside the handle and pinching your hand because the rivets aren't as tight as they should be, so be careful with that.  With serrated blades, it is difficult to cut some foods.  Slicing isn't clean.  It has ruined one side of my cutting board.  I suppose on the plus side, serrated blades rarely ever need sharpened.  I'm keeping them because the blades that should be serrated are GREAT!  And, they look very good in my kitchen.  For the price, they do make for nice decor.  I keep a good chef's knife in the drawer.

Affordable knife block set, but could be sharper for sure. The scissors included were also a little over crossed. But set does get the job done.

Didn`t like them. All the smaller knives are all same siz. I prefer for my knives to have different size, so I can use them for different purposes.
