Got this tent because old one was leaking, especially wanted the full rain fly for maximum rain protection. Of course the manual that came with it started with the disclaimer that it was only for nice weather or light rain, not for heavy rain or windy weather. Reacted as most single structure high tents in wind - that is, bent down fairly low, but sprang back. In the rain (moderate) was great everywhere except the top of the zipper on the back side of the rain flap. Rain ran in there, and dropped through the mesh tent wall. We put a tarp up over the tent and it completely solved the problem - really just had to cover the top of the rain fly zipper. Moderate rain all night long, and inside stayed dry. Good value for the money.
