Wonderful that a nice heavy stainless version of my indispensable rice cooker is fubally available !  Yes, it sticks some on the bottom, but guers what ?  So does the non-stick !!  With the stainless at least it will last forever and there are no microplastics in your food !!

This Aroma 14 cup rice cooker was purchased by me as a gift for my son. He had an old rice cooker with aluminum . I read somewhere that cooking with aluminum cookware is unhealthy for one's brain specifically. I purchased this Aroma 14 cup stainless steel as a safe cooker. My son is very pleased with the size and quality of the cooker.

Since we've been cooking rice for years in a small Aroma rice cooker, we knew we'd like this one, but didn't know how MUCH we'd like it. The rice is perfectly moist, not sticky and not wet, just perfect. We also steamed some green beans in the steamer insert, and they came out great. Being able to cook most of our dinner in this one pot made the preparation & clean-up go much faster. The non-stick surface of the cooking insert is a big improvement over the old model.

The red color looks great on the countertop and even matches my new Wearever red cookware.

Perfect Rice the First Time!

I love this rice cooker!! I can prepare a meal for two with ease and can make salmon rice and asparagus my faves all at once and I'm ready to go! You can do sliced sweet potatoes and more! It has a nice amount of room to add your food so everything cooks evenly if thinly sliced it's sooooo perfect!! Thank you! Need this! And I always get them stolen because people love them so much so this is my 5 th one and I'm thinking I'll grab a back up just in case a friend really needs one. I think it's a healthy way to cook and also retain the taste of the food.

Good design for a rice cooker with a lid that can be easily washed out (attached lid is not a good idea).   Cooks evenly, great size for different grains, vent is good.  No burn.   Removable steel bowl is wonderful with no PFA concerns.   The only thing is quality of steel bowl is a bit off otherwise it would be a five- star review.

A good decent rice cooker that does the job

This product is much better than Aroma brand rice cooker (which I had before) because of its simple design. Very easy to clean and maintain. I use this to cook basmati rice and Sona masoori rice(Indian) . Use a little more water than the required amt. for example to if I use 2 cups of raw rice I add 4 and a half to 4 3/4 cups of water instead of 4 cups . This doesn't make the cooked rice seem dry . Steamer works well for veggies as I am a vegetarian.

Bought this as a replacement for one I have had for 15 years (different brand and was awesome but controls ended up burning out). One reason I chose to go with this one instead of same brand is the steamer basket has handles and it sits on top of the cooker instead of inside. The one thing I dislike is that the basket on this one is aluminum but is very lightweight.

Great cooker

It says it can cook 7 cups of rice to make 14c; but I never cooked more than 5c. Each time it boiled out the vent and made a mess on counter...even when cooked as little as 2.75c. There is not a timer on it and the "Time" cooked is based on the weight of the water/rice. If u follow the chart directions, it does come out cooked correctly; but, if u have your own food not listed on the chart, for ex, frozen chicken, u hav to guess, and try dumping like 5c of water in to see if this is enough time to steam it cooked. It is trial and error. Also, once food is cooked, it automatically changes to warming mode until u unplug it. If u are away too long with it on warm, it can slightly scorch the food or dry it out. This cannot be avoided, it does not shut off. I returned it in the 1st month. Although my last cooker died on me, I was looking for a similiar basic one that I could fill it up, set the timer at 45 min, for ex, and then take off cruising knowing it would shut off, but this one doesnt do that. For the price and if u stay home while using it and experiment with it, Im sure it can be useful.

OverFlows

This rice cooker clicks to warm after about five minutes of turning it on which the Rice has barely warmed up and is no way done. It also will not let you cook it back on to cook again until quite sometime later. So it is taking forever just to cook my rice. I am not happy with this cooker as there is something wrong with the cook button function on it.
