Ratings & Reviews+

14" Sedona Self-Watering Planter Vineyard Brown is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a proper self watering planter I bought this one from Walmart website and it was quite a disappointment. The self watering concept is good but this planter doesn't deliver. There's a disk (basket-like barrier) inside the planter and under it, a small reservoir that will hold no more than 1/2 cup of water. The small reservoir is one thing, the big problem is that once you fill the planter you will have to guess how much water is left in the reservoir and there's no drain hole anywhere on the planter. The concept of self watering is that the planter can hold extra water yet it will not drown your plant! This is more like a self-drowning planter! Sure, you can drill holes on the planter but if you have to DIY to make this into a proper self watering planter you might as well buy a cheaper bucket to do it from scratch.
