Our upstairs room gets so hot, especially in the summer. Just adding this sweet baby to our room makes a whole world of difference. The remote control is very easy to navigate. We love it! It makes our sleep at night much more relaxing.

It also has an application for your phone so that's nice. I would say it's not loud. It was able to cool my room in like 10 minutes and you're able to set it so we would turn off on its own so it's energy efficient

Portable and easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super heavy and bigger than I thought this would be, but it has wheels so it's easy to move around as needed. I'm a hot sleeper so Ive been using the fan setting in my bedroom, and my utility bill has seriously gone down because I don't have to turn the whole ac on.

Love the multiple settings

Installation was easy and the unit is on wheels making it super easy to move about if needed. I would say it's noisy but that's to be expected though not too noisy compared to old products. It seems very efficient. Even the remote came with batteries! I'm so impressed. If I could give the item ten stars I would. Beautiful product.

Great for summer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This system is amazing! Easy to set up and powerful! Ability to be a cooling or heating system. Vents open up when in use and can move up and down to push air out. If using the heater portion then we will have to periodically drain the system.

It's Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is compact, but powerful. It has wheels, which made it easy to move on the hardwood floors and handles which made picking it up when I got to the carpet easy. It blows nice cold air in AC mode and ran efficiently until I got to the set temperature. Fan mode gives you 2 speed options. Dry mode gives you cold AC and a dehumidifier, a valuable advantage in the swampy area I live in. A timer allows you to “set it and forget it” if you don't want it running when no one is home. The handy remote means you can tuck the small unit in the corner and adjust the settings from the couch or bed. The instructions for installation were very easy, the filter is washable and easy to get to and the drain plug is also easily accessible. 

My windows are only 30 inches wide and the window installation kit was slightly wider than that at its smallest, so we had to adjust a little, so take that into account. I would also suggest that raising the AC off the ground a little bit— we used 2 pieces of plywood- will make it easier to drain the water from the dehumidifier.

So easy to install, only took a matter of minutes. Everything is included in the box that you will need for the install as well. This produces a very quiet “white noise”, just enough to help you sleep. Energy efficient, yes, although I haven't received my electric bill since using it. I'm just going off what the box says (see photo). Very happy with this product. I may have to make additional purchases in the future.

Ice cold air!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works great. The only reason I rated 4 instead of 5 is because of the hose/connection kit. A lot of hot air leaks out around the connection areas, both the plastic that attaches to the unit itself and the hose that connects to that piece as well as at the top. You must use the foam included to help get a good seal.

Good option to have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TCL 5000 BTC Smart AC has been a lifesaver in my K-Town apartment. It cools my space fast, even with the LA sun blasting through my windows. The smart features are super convenient and I can turn it on from my phone before I even get home.

It's energy-efficient and easy to use, Only downside is it's not super quiet, but the steady hum is manageable. For the price and performance, it's one of the best ACs you can get for small LA spaces.

Perfect for LA apartment living.

Arrived with a damaged box and cosmetic damage to the unit not ready to return it in the middle of a heat wave. Otherwise it runs.
