To say the least I love this table saw. I replaced an older Ryobi 10" table saw with your 7485 and couldn't be happier. No more fumbling with moving the fence around. Your system of turning a knob to move the fence is a welcome change for me. Love that I can now rip a 4x8 sheet of plywood in half with this saw. Everything was set up perfectly when I unboxed it and didn't need a single adjustment. I did change the blade to a finer blade to suit my needs. You guys must have a super high torque spec for holding the blade on. I'm 6' 3" and 270lbs and it was a struggle to loosen that nut, but I finally got it off. Love this saw!

I bought my saw used from a guy that used it twice. Basically new. This saw has been great. I use this saw all the time. It's easy to use never had issues. I do a lot of house projects and this table saw has been my go to tool for all my cuts. I saw another review about the flatness not being great. I looked at mine and it's pretty flat for a job site saw. I was surprised how flat my table saw was. Great quality reliable table saw.

Easy to use and reliable.

This is a great compact, mobile table saw.  I use both the DeWalt 8 1/4 in and other 8 in blades on it.  I rip everything from plywood to dimensional lumber to flooring with it.

This isn't a cabinet saw or a high end woodworking table saw.  I would not expect it to handle dado cuts or anything like that.  It handles everything that I could use it for in residential construction though.

Great Mobile Table Saw

It's a great saw at a reasonable price. It stays in my small, garage shop but is small enough to keep on a mobile base. It's handled every type of hardwood I've thrown at it.

Mobile but powerful

I have use it for a couple of days for a total of about 10 hours and I'm very impressed. I've moved from a Bosch 4100, which was giving me alignment issues which was causing major frustration. The wife on my back, so I decided to try a Dewalt. Couldn't find the 745 and decided on the DWE7485. Glad I did. I'm use to using a 10" blade but wasn't opposed to to a smaller. If your in the trade of construction and carpentry, I can understand it. I'm just into woodworking. I have a one car garage shop, so it fits very well. If your in the market you can't go wrong. There will always be haters and naysayers who just love to be negative. If it's not for you find another brand. This is my first Dewalt purchase though I have been using the product for over 15 years for work.

Excellent Little Compact Fireball!

What id like to know is how so many people in the comments are incapable of using Google search to determine if this table saw accepts a dado blade before buying the product, assuming that's a deal breaker for them, it's a decent saw for the price with some flaws that can be tweaked and improved on as long as you don't need a dado blade.

Great table saw long as you dont need a dado blade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this great saw for about month now and I love it. Cuts great and true. I'm 64 and great weight for me carry. Needed it to make a flower stand for wife. Now looking to do more with it. Plenty of power in its compact size

Perfect size for home owner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got mine delivered a couple days ago.  Bought the saw because I had to rip 12' pieces of shiplap. Saw did awesome on these long cuts. Blade did nice clean cuts.  The legs being outward and flat on top made it easy to clamp down (not sure it really needed to because it felt pretty sure footed already).  Like that all the accessories have locations on the saw to be stored. like also that saw base and guard both have vacuum connections.  Push stick was included.  Other reviews of the previous model said the miter jig was loose and plastic.  But this one is all aluminum/steel and had no slop-fit well.  Only wish it could use a dado. Really think a great saw for the money.

Great Saw

Other reviews capture why this is a great general purpose saw, so I'll just move on to my one issue... mounting it. The saw doesn't come with mounting bolts, and the bolts that came with the 7440RS stand are too large, and I can't find any official info on it. Some people mention 8mm, but that they don't fit perfectly. Others mount using the diagonal cut holes with lock washers, but this seems like a rig job for a brand new saw and stand made by the same company. I'd rather mount flush using the supplied feet, which also give an extra 1/2" of height. Any help from DeWalt here? What size and length bolt is ideal for using the built-in mounting threads?

Nice little saw full of features and great value for money.  Amazing fence system for a saw this inexpensive. However one aggravation is the measuring tape scale for the rip fence is off by 1/32” over 20”.  From 0-7” it is pretty bang on, but the inches are slightly less than an inch after 7” creeping up to a total of 1/32” at 20” and beyond.   I think there is a bad batch of tape their supplier shipped them as I verified the same issue in 3 Saws made in 2025.

I recently got the 7485. first time buying a table saw. some aspects are great but it has huge limitations that I wish I had known before buying it - or I would not have purchased.  The lack of dado but also how difficult (impossible) it is to get a blade that can make fine cuts and still work with the riving knife. it seems like a 40 tooth blade might be the limit. It looks like this was designed just to chop lumber on a job site but for a DIY person, it does not really work. just getting information about what blades can work on this has been way too hard - and already resulted in buying one blade that was not compatible. so Dewalt seems to make great stuff but this one can't do what i need. i wish they had been much clearer about those limits up front.
