Quiet, good for small space

I was curious to try this Pelonis heater. I never heard of the company before and found a few different models at Walmart. I've used an electric radiator-type heater in the past and this one is very similar. The heat is felt consistently and ‘radiates' from all 4 sides. It takes a good 10 minutes to really feel the heat, but once it's pre-heated, it's very nice. (I live in Alberta and use electric heaters throughout the winter.)

My furnace wasn't working so it was perfect time to try this space heater. I checked the temperature of the room when I turned this unit on and within a half hour I noticed it went up 1 degree. I felt that was quite fast and you could definitely feel that the chill in the air was less.  There is absolutely no noise from this heater which is great. I used it on setting number 2 and at about three quarters way for the heat level on the knob. I love that it heats the air slowly because I feel you get a much nicer heat than the ones that blow warm air.

Perfect Space Heater

I was looking something to warm my bedroom and decided to try Pelonis Electric Radiator Heater. And Love it, it did good job, quick warm my bedroom, easy to use, not too big, and working quite.  This week I am going to buy 2 more  for my son and daughter bedrooms. Highly  recommend!

Pelonis Electric Radiator Heater Must Have

At first, I didn't like my new Pelonis Electric Radiator Heater and I thought it was defective. The problem was my unfamiliarity with using oil-filled heaters. After a bit of online reading, I learned that it takes a while (an hour or two) to get it going, meaning no immediate gratification of instant heat. Once it is fully running, you can dial down the power a bit and it'll keep providing consistent heat. This makes it more energy efficient than the more commonly used electric fan heaters. Without needing a fan to push the heat, it also doesn't make any sounds or noise. It provides a comfortable and natural-feeling warmth for those frigid extended periods of cold.

Good as secondary heat source for a small room so you can turn down the heat during most of the day ,to avoid wasting heat when you are in only one room most of the time . The machine will be hot but once about 2 feet away, you  will not feel the heat directly . For small room about 200 sq ft with door slightly opened ( to still get fresh air airflow) . Use as secondary (additional)heat source not as primary .

we've owned a bunch of similar oil-filled heaters in the past and this one is by far the least efficient 1500w one out of the bunch. it doesn't heat the rooms anywhere near as much or effectively but still consuming 1500w. it's also a lot cheaper feeling then any previous oil-filled heaters we've even used. i guess it's okay for the price but i expected better. it will certainly be quite costly to run this heater given how inefficient it is. I'd probably opt for a different one.
