It comes with a 3 ft connector hose and features sturdy wheels that handle rocky and grassy surfaces while supporting a full 175 ft of hose without feeling unstable. The cart also performs reliably in high temperatures, making it well suited to Texas heat.

Overall performance and durability make this product easy to recommend. The primary drawback is the short length of the included connector hose, which is only 3 ft and may be limiting depending on the outdoor faucet location.

I had this same hose reel purchased from Walmart before, for many years, until I needed to replace it with this new one. I love it because it can be moved around and also can be put away in the shed for the winter with the hose attached.

Bought 2 as replacements for a 9 year old hose holders (same style %26 brand) that were destroyed in a bad hail storm. These seem to be even better quality than our previous ones. These were a great price %26 quality. Hoping these withstand 9 years in the elements like our last two.

Great hose holder!

The only problem with this unit is the supply hose.   The threads are too shallow and it leaked at the cart end even after tightening.  I am now using my old one, which covers all the threads and there is no leaks.

Good product otherwise.

Works as advertised.  Much easier to clean hose away after use. Handle works well.
Only slight issue is some water leakage at the side from the hose that connects to the tap. Reasonably priced and cheaper in Walmart than 2 other big chain stores.

175ft hosemobile

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was disappointed that the hose rack did not come with the short hose required to attach the water faucet to the hose rack as required. Could not use the hose caddy until I was able to acquire the short hose required.

I was able to get my 100Ft hose wound up onto the reel it all nice and neat. For the price I am satisfied with this hose reel.  There are some cons, like when you try and unwind the hose it will slack and get between the reel and the frame and you have to pull the hose out while manually unwinding to get it out of the space. If it was a 50ft hose I don't think this would happen. It's very lightweight so when you wind it back up you need to hold it with your foot while you are reeling it back up so it doesn't move. This was cheaper then other stores I had looked at for the same exact quality.

Serves it purpose

It is a serviceable reel cart and my hose fit nicely. Would like it to be of a more solid construction, particularly around the hose connection to the water supply (these tend to break under a bit of stress). Consistent with shortcomings of the hose connection, the supplied connection hose is very short - so much so that I had to get another connection hose to get sufficient length. A short hose means that the hose is taut when connected from water supply to reel cart so 1) makes it difficult to move the cart when connected and 2) puts stress on the hose connection of the reel cart making breakage an inevitability.

Comes out a little short...

This is a decent hose roller for the price. The fixtures are plastic so I don't expect much in longevity. Also, as I read on so many of the reviews, it's impossible to keep it from leaking where the hose attaches to the plastic connection pieces. I even used Teflon tape hoping it would minimize the leakage. But it's a cheaply made and my expectations were low. I'm careful to turn off the spigot after each use, but it definitely makes watering my container garden easier, given physical limitations from  complications from my cancer treatment on my right arm/chest area.

You get what you pay for. It's cheaply made.

I tried it with light duty and heavy duty hoses, it couldn't even roll once without kinking the houses. Also, unless you have sealant, this thing will leak on you.. period. Overall not very happy with this product :( website could've shown hoses that are compatible.. but NO, product description implies that this hose reel accepts universal garden hoses when it doesn't. Seems like steel hoses only work.
