Leaks smoke at the elbow seams and rivets. The piece was installed with a generous amount of high temp RTV at the points of contact with the adjoining pieces (which fit nicely) but the elbow itself leaks. The entire system was replaced this fall with all new parts and the new 90* and 45* elbows leak at the same places as last years elbows.  If possible avoid using any 90* or 45* pipes.
