How U-Taste makes a better kitchen tong? 18/8 stainless steel handle coated with BPA free silicone. No more rust spots, weird smell, or deformation. Based on the data gained from the former version, U-Taste has thickened the stainless steel to 0.8mm. Compared to its original version (0.6mm thick), it is stronger, tougher, and heavy duty, holding the food it grasps firmly. When the tongs in husband's BBQ set wore out this seemed to be the next best thing.  Husband was a bit skeptical at first however after the first use, he was sold on it. This will be our replacement from here on out. They have to be the metal ones!

You know the first thing my husband and I did, was see if it bent with a little pressure and it didn't. So it passed our test of being sturdy enough to flip a rack of ribs. It has a little weight to it, telling us it is good too. Very nice set for the price. Now to see how long they will last.
