living in the north, the climate just get really cold and dry even you stay home, I put this humidifier in my bedroom and it really helps to bring the humidity up and help my skin moisturized more. It has  big tank which is great because then I don't need to add water every single day, and the control panel gives me option to set it low or high which means the water will be use slower or faster, I think it is worth it to have one.
