File cabinets

Very Happy

The filing cabinet is very good. It's sturdy, well-made and the drawers move smoothly. Also the stained wood drawers and top are aesthetically appealing. The only problems I encountered were that the wheels do not move smoothly and it was difficult to put together. But otherwise a very good filing cabinet.

Workbook

Filing cabinet size, build and wood look combo is a decent value for the cost.
However, the drawer handles a really cheap plastic and have a really vheap look. Spent another 10 dollars and replaced them with metal ones.

Great cabinet.  Not a great lock.  Sticky.  Hard to lock and unlock.

Something seems to be missing between the top and bottom drawers.  I was unable to put the upper drawer on top of the bottom drawer without a separating piece in the middle. It took me one day to assemble it without any success!

the filing cabinet had to be assembled, and it did not say that on the picture.  There were a million pieces!! to put it together.  I am 87 yrs old and have no-one to help me so this was very unsatisfactory and I had to return it

Bought on sale at $99.99 and can't imagine paying full price ($179.99) with amount of labour required.  My biggest complaint is that the sliding rails needed on drawers and cabinet are not attached in the box so quite a bit of work is required to put them in despite having small guide/pilot holes where need to place.  I found this most difficult as screws seemed to easily strip so that I couldn't get flush with backing for tight fit....its taken me an hour and a half just to get four rails on and I still have drawers to go and casters on bottom...very labour intense but otherwise seems straight forward design to build - screwdriver needed but all other pieces included...maybe a drill would make easier but I don't have one. Looks identical to picture.  I am comparing to a TV stand recently purchased from Walmart with sliding drawers and screw in footing, built in under 2 hrs by myself with way easier build features.
