Although this is sold as a kitchen cart, I purchased for use as a laptop cart. The functionality of this cart is excellent. The top shelf holds my laptop and my printer. The outside shelves holds books and my external hard drive. The shelves behind the door holds reams of paper and other paperwork, some of which is private. The drawer holds printer cartridges and other small office equipment. This cart allows ease of portability from one room to another without having to disconnect the peripherals. This way I can work in any room in the house that affords the most quiet or privacy. My family did not think a kitchen cart could be used as a laptop cart, but I have made them all eat their words.

On a cautionary note, the assembly is a two person operation. Because the assembly instructions were pictures only, there was room for error. However, my husband and I persevered and I am now one happy shopper!

This cart was exactly what we were looking for! Couldn't be more pleased. Easy to put together, made well, and the price was perfect!

Perfect for small spaces!

I had read comments about how difficult this was to set up, so I took my time and set it up in two sessions. In the first, I labeled all the parts (with sticky notes) according to the parts list. That took approximately 1 hour. Fortunately, I didn't try to tackle the second session (actually putting the cart together) by myself. Having pre-labeled all the parts, the instructions were relatively easy to follow, but I would definitely recommend having someone to help - specifically to hold parts and to interpret pictures. Even with two people, the cart took the better part of 2 hours to put together, but the time was well worth the result! The cart is sturdy, attractive, rolls easily, and has lots of room for storage. I'm using it in an office to hold my mini-fridge but would find it very useful in a small kitchen or even in a garage and/or basement.

Excellent cart for the price!

I purchased this item for my daughter and it was a great buy. She put it together and some of the parts were not measured right. She took it back to Walmart and reordered the same cart. The new cart was damaged. It had a crack all the way across the back on the shelf. Needless to say, we ordered twice and both times the cart was in poor or non-functioning condition. I would purchase this product again but the companies need to inspect the produce thoroughly and ship it using good shipping materials.

Great buy but with problems

This thing was the absolute worst thing I have ever had to put together! However once the unit is together it looks great and is very functional- it was a great value compared to other similar items.

Looks great, good wood, the only thing is nothing was labeled good thing My hubby is handy! I would of liked the draw to move more freely. But over all it's worth the money

Worth the money

Could not line up the screws for the drawer. Instructions were hard to follow.

drawer was improperly milled

the cabinet looks nice, but it was difficult to put together even with 2 people trying to hold together. Would be helpful if the parts were marked, the door panel was cracked, and plastic surrounding the magnet lock was broken, so we had to replace.

looks nice but came in less than perfect condition

I had to sand down and forcefully shove the drawer in the cart.  It is not functional,  will not slide out at all.  It took a lot of force just to get it to close.  It is now only there for decoration.  Cart is sturdy and looks nice, but the drawer is useless.
