I've been using the DEWALT FLEXVOLT 6Ah Battery for a while now and it's been one of the best upgrades for my tools. The battery life is impressive, especially when using high-demand tools like grinders, saws, and leaf blowers. It holds a charge well and charges fairly quickly too. I also like how versatile it is — being compatible with both 20V and 60V DEWALT tools makes it really convenient. The build quality feels solid and durable, even after heavy daily use on job sites. It's a little heavier than smaller batteries, but the extra runtime is definitely worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this battery for anyone wanting reliable power and longer working time.

Came with a combo kit. Has worked well for general construction and drilling holes in ice for ice fishing with 1/2" hammer drill. Long life for both. Batteries are 5 years old now and still going strong. I like the test feature on the font.

Long life battery

I have switched all my tools to the flex volt. Been working great for over a year. But in the past 2 weeks I have had 3 that stopped taking a charge. It's not the charger either. I can put the battery in and it wont recognizeit's there. I have even tried a regular 20v charger.

Well taken care of, little usage by home owner and it will not take a charge.  Because of the DeWalt tools I've purchased I have 3 of these batteries and I make sure I rotate them.  My batteries look like they're new because I take care of them.

Won't take a charge

I purchased this less than a week ago.  The first charge ran down very quickly so I charged again but no difference.  I purchased these for longer runtime on my DCG413 and DCS367 saws.  Very disappointed in these DCB606 batteries performance. My 5AH batteries actually are lasting longer. Off the charger they stay at 3 lights on the indicator but the first pull of the trigger drops them to 2 lights then quickly to one.  then they run that way for several minutes of cutting before death.  I would guess my 5AH is giving me about 2-3 more min cutting time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used these batteries for both my miter saw and my cordless chainsaw.  At first they worked great, but within two jobs both batteries failed to take a charge.  Both these batteries from 2016 will not take a charge.  I am on hold trying to get these replaced.

Batteries do not last

So excited when I bought thought the name and cost would mean something. Couldn't have been more wrong. Battery stopped charging after just a few months of light yard work. So disappointed 
Now stuck with dewalt blower and weedwhacker.

Work less than 4 months

Battery stopped accepting a charge.  It's not even 2 yrs old.  After years of purchasing DeWalt tools I am no longer the fan I once was.  I am slowly switching over to Red.

Garbage

I have a flexvolt from 2016 that no longer charges and I have four  3ah batteries dating back to 2011 and work perfectly still. They made flexvolt not to last as long the older ones to sell more. You've been warned!

Great, while it lasted...

Purchased this battery back in march and only used it a few times at home in my leaf blower and it is already dead
