What a great value for the price. The extra battery is nice to have but I can usually get my tiny yard mowed easily on less than a full charge. Was looking for a “girl lawnmower” and I highly recommend if that's what you're looking for or even just have a small yard.

I absolutely love my little mower.  The trimmer has autofeed line and the mower deck prevents flying debris.  The best part is I no longer have to bear the weight of the trimmer when weed whacking.  The mower deck also enables me to be able to use it safely around my plants.
The mower deck is plastic and the trimmer easily comes loose but I saw another review where a bungee cord was wrapped over the trimmer and hooked into the bottom of the mower deck.  I tried this and it works great! 

Keep in mind this mower is for small spaces.  The batteries only last about 20 minutes each and the charger takes about four hours for each to recharge.  It looks like a toy but it does the job and does it well.  I am glad I purchased it and highly recommend it.

May look like a toy but is a powerhouse!

I have a small grass area in my yard about 20 ft. x 9 ft..  I have a lawnmower which is kind of big and my trimmer broke.  Replacing it with Black and Decker Cordless is the best thing I did.  The lawnmower portion is not heavy duty but for my area, it is perfect as I can mow, edge and trim with one hand!

Exactly What I Needed - Very Happy!

Lightweight and easy to use. I found using it as a weeder worked best on my overgrown lawn. Once I got it down to a shorter height I used it as a mower to even it out. It's not going to give you the same manicured results as a high powered mower and if that's your thing then this isn't for you but I like that I can get to areas that a big mower can't and I love that I can just pop the battery in and it's good to go without having to mess with gasoline. I don't mind raking the clippings and getting a nice workout at the same time and again, if that's not your thing then skip this little city mower. Using it as an edger also works great. Each battery lasts over 20 minutes so between the 2 I had enough power to do the back and front lawns. Great for smaller lawns, maintenance and anyone who'd rather not deal with using gas.

Perfect for my needs

I bought this to do some of my yard myself instead of paying a service to do it, and it has worked just fine for that.
Pros: Lightweight, easy to handle, fairly easy to learn how to do everything. I was able to edge and mow my yard with this, and I'm 62 and not in great shape.
Cons: I did find that it took a couple of charges of each 2.0 AH 20V battery to get all of my yard done. My whole piece of property is 1/2 acre, but the house & pool take up a lot of that and 1/3 of it is preserve area that does not get mowed. I have since bought two other Black & Decker yard tools with the larger 40V batteries, and those do not fit into this tool because they are 1.5 AH. I also had to replace the string reel after only one mowing. Wish it had come with an extra one of those!
All in all, this was a pretty good value for the price!

My yard is very small and the ground is uneven. It's really just a weedwhacker on wheels that you just push. Once I figured out that I needed to lower the wheels-worked like a dream. It's like vacuuming and very satisfied with the results. Love that the you can take it apart to use solely as a weedwacker so you don't need to bring two pieces of equipment, as in the past. Also makes it easy to store and takes up very little room. I would give it 5 stars except for the price. Tires and base could be a bit less "cheapy" for the price but for my needs-it's fantastic!

Love it!

I loved this item the first few days. however taking it out and using it as a weed wacker and then connecting it back in and using it as a small lawn mower did not work well. The latch that held the weed wacker in is not strong enough to withstand constantly having it taken out and put back in. it has become loose and now when I push the weed wacker around it sometimes comes unclicked. it's really unfortunate because it works really well actually as a little mini lawn mower. My child was using this to mow our lawn and literally mowed the entire thing multiple times.

disappointed

I had one of these previously and it worked great.  But this one  has problems in the fact that the batteries won't charge properly.  I don't know if it's the batteries or the charger that came with this product.   Wish I had one like the first one  bought

Did Not Realize That This Was Just A Weed Wacker, Mighty Expensive Weed Wacker. I Thought This Was Actually A Mini Lawn Mower With Actual Cutting Blades. Very Very Disappointing. What A Waste Of Hard Earned Money.I Didn't Need Another Weed Wacker.What I Needed Was A Mini Lightweight Easy To Maneuver Actual Lawnmower To Get Up And Down A Small Hill.
