Fantastic lawn mower for a commercial trim mower or a yard perfectionist homeowner. If your a fan of high build quaility and big power stop looking and purchase immediately.  Im also impressed with the integrated lighting system affording me the ability to mow after work in the fall.

Above and beyond the competition

I've use this mower now 3 times. I have a bit over 1/3 acre with big hill in the front yard and a good slope on the side. I used self-propel cutting the whole yard. When done, I still have 2 battery power lights still on. Easy to push and operate. The single lever height adjustment works great. The only down side which is not much, is with the mulch pmug installed you get cut grass buildup around the plug and on the back flap on the bottom. No big deal if you remember to clean it out before putting the mower away or you will get grass in the garage where you store it.
It is quite a bit more money than others but I wanted to make sure I had enough power to cut my hilly yard. I do!

Great purchase. Does the job!

This lawnmower is everything that I expected it to be.  It is a little pricey, but that is because of the batteries that come with it.  If you are already invested in the 18v platform and can use the batteries for other tools, this purchase is a no-brainer.  I already had a battery lawnmower from another brand, but quickly got rid of it and purchased the Milwaukee.  The Milwaukee outperforms the other brand in every way.

Awesome Lawnmower

Given the cost of this mower and having used a Honda for 12 years I was skeptical about making the switch. I needed a mower that could run for 50-60 minutes on a single charge while providing a clean cut both mulching and bagging. Out of the box the assembly was easy and with fully charged batteries this mower performed! I used the high lift option with the push of a button for a nice mulch cut and 55 minutes later the cut was great and the mower still had battery life. 5 cuts later and this mower is out performing my old Honda 200 cc mower. I've used Milwaukee tools for years and really like the fact I can swap the M18 batteries with any of the M18 tools. Looking forward to adding the weed eater and chainsaw.

Power, Performance

Great addition to the m18 eco system, feels sturdy and well made, ease of adjustments from height to storage. Smooth operation and more than enough power for my residential needs. Price point is high versus competitors but it's the Milwaukee quality I've come to expect and complements my stable of m18 tools.

Milwaukee quality

Nice mower. Self propelled feature makes up for the fact it is a bit on the heavy side. Seems to be well built. Height adjustment is easy to use. Rear outlet chute allows mower to get close to edges/obstacles on either side. Mower does not clog easily. Push button “High Lift” feature (which boosts motor/blade speed) very useful when grass is long and/or wet.  Would be nice if adjustable handle went 1 step higher/more upright.

M18 Self Propelled Mower

I have read multiple reviews about this mower and was initially a little leery to pull the trigger on this electric mower. However, after watching several youtube videos about this mower, I decided to keep my allegiance to Milwaukee since I have had their power tools for 8 plus years with no issues with the batteries. 

So as mentioned, my first reason was to keep this in the same battery family as what I own already. The next was the quality of the cut that I saw on the youtube reviews. And I must agree the cut is great after three mows. I highly expect, as I would with any mower to have to sharpen the blades at some point. But that's expected.

I will admit, I had one brief issue of the mower self-propel function not working the first day I used the mower. However, I took the batteries out, put them back in and back to normal function. Simple CTRL-ALT-DEL. It's an electric machine and this old trick worked. 

The other thing I'll say is that the plug for the mulching plug could be a little better fitting. I tend to get a lot of grass shooting out the aft of the mower. 

Oh, and I wish there was a built in cup holder - that would be sweet, but that's just semantics. 

All in all, if you're on the hedge - I mean edge - I'd say go for this mower, especially if you already own milwaukee products. You get great batteries, and great customer service if you have anything wrong. 

At least that has been my experience!

Milwaukee Mow - Give it a Go

I have really enjoyed using this mower. I have found the power very similar to my old 190 cc craftsman mower, but so much more convenient. Had some difficulty with damp grass, but that is expected. I have about a 1/4 acre property and the batteries finish the lawn with one bar left on the batteries. Very happy

My brand new mower ran for approximately 10 minutes and died…. with a few minutes of rest it would run for about 30 seconds and die…. It was replaced with by seller however, as a homeowner I will use it infrequently and have very little confidence for the cost of this machine.

Great when it works

The good - the power and the runtime. 

The Bad - the safety shutoff switch is flakey (at best). As with any lawnmower you need to hold the safety shutoff bar reasonably snug to the handle to first start the blade cutting and to keep it cutting. With the safety shutoff bar consistently held, the mower cut out dozens of times just cutting my "city sized" backyard. Doing a post mortem search online it turns out this is a common problem.

Flakey safety cutoff switch ruins a good machine.
