I love these lamps for the nightstand. Very easy to turn off with just a touch to anywhere on  the lamp. The black has a sheen. The shade is good. But not real high quality. It does the job. The only reason I gave a 4 is because the piece that you attach the shade too is crooked. I had to get pliers to straighten it out so the shade would hang level. Be careful doing this as you can pend the metal harp. I also did not use the washer. Good buy.

Touch control

Touch on/off feature worked at first with one of those spiral, energy-saving bulbs but, after a few hours the touch feature stopped working and I have to unplug it to turn it off . Have not yet tried it with a regular bulb.

Pretty bedside lamp

Just what I needed for my bedroom. Nice lamp and was a good price.

I loved this lamp until it stopped working 2 months later.  Very disappointing.

Lamp Failure

Plugged in in and.touched it. Nothing happened. Tried 6 new bulbs and still nothing. Very cheap and light lamp.
