Very beautiful lamp in my daughters room. Make sure to follow manufacturer instructions. So far it works great, but I did try using an energy saving bulb. DO NOT!    I would turn lamp on and walk away to find the light off. Use the bulb they tell you and DO NOT use an extension cord and this lamp will work just fine.

This is a great lamp, you can change from low, to medium, to high by repeatedly touching it, all the while using a regular bulb, NOT a three way bulb.  We have two of them on our night stands and all you have to do is reach over an touch it to turn it on.  No fumbling for a switch in the middle of the night (or any other time for that matter).  Works great, looks great, like I said a great lamp.

Great Lamp

I had always had to stretch to turn out the lamp on my nightstand and it just seemed a bit out of reach! I never had a touch lamp before, so I decided to try it out and I wish I had found it years ago!  It is so simple to just touch the light on and off!  So much easier and convenient.  I'm thinking of replacing all my lamps with a touch lamp!  Plus, it looks really nice on the stand.  Pretty, functional and compact!  Love it!

Best lamp I've ever bought!

My mother is quite elderly and has trouble with arthritic hands.   Now she can simply touch the lamp to turn off or on.   She is so happy with this solution.

I REALLY LOVE THE LAMP. I HAVE ARTHRITHIS REALLY BAD & USING A LAMP THAT YOU HAVE TO TURN ON/OFF WITH A SWITCH IS VERY HARD ON MY FINGERS.  NOW ALL I HAVE TO DO IS JUST TOUCH THE LAMP ON THE BASE AND IT COMES ON/OFF.

LOVE IT

Uses normal incandescent bulbs which I still prefer, so long as they're still available.  Works great, looks good; I bought these two to add to a previous pair I bought two years ago.  Also, these don't use or require 3-level bulbs.  I'd have liked more color choices, but there's less choice now for the ones like this that use normal incandescent bulbs.

I think this lamp is great I like the style of it also you don't have to get a 3 way bulb to make it work. you just use a regular bulb 100w or lower and it will change brightness with the touch of your finger.

Nice height, beautiful lamp . Works great for my arthritic family member. Great price. Arrived quickly. Packaged very well in layers and layers of bubble wrap.

Getcha one

This lamp shipped fast, faster than expected. When the box arrived it had a hole in the side ( probably happened in shipping ) I was pleasantly surprised to see that the lamp itself was well protected. However, upon on unwrapping it, I noticed that the top of the lamp is all scratched up. That is really disappointing because to send it back over the scratches would be more of an  inconvenience for me more than anything. Plus the money of shipping it back. Also the spot I have in mind for the lamp will mostly hide them .    Everything else works well so far, and it far from gives a cheap impression.  I would recommend this to a friend in hopes that I just got an oddball lamp.

Mostly decent

The lamps arrived quickly and intact. When I assembled them, it was obvious that the shade would not sit evenly because the harp attachment had a slanted part which prevented the shade from attaching evenly.  Crazy design or defect.  Base is ivory, not white, but I would have kept if they worked. One lit up and I liked the touch feature. The other wouldn't light up at all.  Returned.
