Cutter is suitable for cutting 0.0105 inch thick cardstock and thinner. As delivered there were 2 problems. The aluminum bar which is used for lining up paper was not square but is easily adjusted with square after loosening screws under the cutter table. The other issue was that clear plastic strip that is used to hold down paper was upside down. It is easily flipped over. Note the chamfer on this clear plastic strip needs to be facing down.
