Hyper viking trail  21 speed

After 25 years out of the saddle, I decided to get back into cycling.  After exhaustive research, I decided to get a hard tail bike which is perfect for trails or bike lanes.  This bike's price at WAL MART was unbeatable.  I just have to put it together.  I ordered it on Wednesday, and got it in Nova Scotia on Friday.

I considered moving up to the 29-inch model, but opted to stick with what I know and enjoy for its performance and versatility. Found it a little difficult to adjust the gears, especially the front ones, but I usually only use maybe 6 gears in the middle to higher end of the range, so I was good to go.

Repeat customer

My 13 yo son has had the bike for about a month now and no complaints.  We did have an issue with the disc brake rubbing. After a cpl tightening of some screws it still rubbed a bit but eventually worked itself out while riding.

So far so good

It was not too hard to assemble. However, I had to take it to a local bike shop for fine tuning. The bicycle is pretty good for its price but the seat is not comfortable at all. I had to buy a new one.

Great value for price, however seat is quite hard.

Bike is working well but the chain is making a noise depending on which gear you use because it is touching the metal. They told me weeks ago they will call me to bring it in when the bike guy is in, but still waiting. Other than that it is a decent bike.

Decent bike

Good looking and cheap (when on sale). Comes with features from more expensive bike but unfortunately, these are made with poor quality material. You get what you pay for. For example, the front cog on mine is not straight which makes the chain rub on every turn even once adjusted.

I bought a new 27.5 inch Hyper viking trail Cycle from Walmart and had the front tyre wobbling when I assembled it. I contacted the customer support and they said, they will ship a new tire. When the tire arrived after 3 days, it was just the front rim, without the tube. I sent several emails with photograph, but didn't receive a response. I tried contacting them in the live chat, but they left the chat to close without giving the right response. They didn't bother empathizing with me, no "sorry" no "apologies". They kept wasting my time by giving response very late and at the end said that "we suggest you return the cycle". PATHETIC. You Should do as you say, Even the warranty email says, "front wheel" in the subject line, why did you ship a front rim. It would've been better if you had no customer support than giving this experience to somebody. YOU LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE. Even if you can't do the thing, at least say sorry to the customer and respond promptly. Didn't expect this from Canadian company.
