Amazing

Love the blackstone! The attachable lid is a very nice feature as well. 
Only thing that is good and bad is the amount of accessories that you need or could use just crazy. But love the usage and pretty decent quality.

Great Blackstone and fun cooking

I can't put into words how much I love my Blackstone. I got it as a birthday gift and I cried. This is what I've been wanting for years, definitely upped to my chef game. I'm so happy to own one.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST

Recently purchased a 28” griddle. I…LOVE…IT!! Easy to season and clean and take care of, and SUPER FUN to cook on! I’ve done breakfast, lunch and dinner in the short amount of time I’ve owned it. Money well spent!

BEST OUTDOOR COOKING EVER!

On the setup:
It was a challenge to get the bolts to attach the shelf and have that in place. Partly because the holes didn’t align perfectly. Was afraid of stripping the bolts because we had to push significantly for them to start to go in and tighten.

Product build:
Overall, the Blackstone feels solid and I’m happy with the build. There’s something I’m disappointed in though. Either the frame isn’t square or the griddle top isn’t, because it wobbles significantly even though it’s “locked” in place. A fix I’ll probably implement is getting some washers to add to one of the feet in order to stop it from wobbling.


On cooking:
No complaints here! There’s a learning curve for sure, but we’ve made tasty meals on it so far.

Cooking is great. Assembly is questionable.

Overall, the Blackstone is a nice addition to our other outdoor cooking option. I wish the build quality was a little better for the cost, specially the stand and hardware used. The metal is very thin and flexes easily. Also, I switched mine over to natural gas and had to cut one screw for the burner because it was stripped with no way to remove it. Time and continued use will tell if there are any other quality issues.

Good but I expected better quality for the cost

So far, very happy with this grill. Very easy to out together out of the box. Cooking surface heats quickly and gets very hot, even with only 2 burners. I will say that the frame is flimsy and bends easily on an uneven surface, causing the griddle to rock back and forth. Other than this, a great grill.

Good value product

I have owned the grill for approximately one month. The cook top is a great size and meals are cooked quickly. However, the build quality is ok at best. The cooktop was warped and I had to use washers to level it. The legs are very wobbly and I guess are meant to fold in but I can’t understand why. Also the igniter does a poor job and I have burned more eyebrow and eyelash hair than I ever had.

Mediocre build quality and pricey for a skillet.

The main drawbacks that I'm seeing are there are low spots on the griddle, so putting oil down is almost useless as the oil immediately runs and pools in the low spot. The other drawback is the griddle cools off really quick when you put food on it. It sizzles right away but you lose that really quick. The 36" may not have these problems, but I'm disappointed with this model. I was expecting more as I have heard so many good things about Blackstone.
