This was bought for my 89 year old father in-law and it is perfect for him to adjust the lighting as he sees fit. This has helped him with his reading as the eyes need more light with age. A perfect solution ...tks wal-mart

great purchase

I bought 2 of these for my main floor. Added with white CFLs, the floor looks bright white. i love the lamps for their design. I can focus the lamps in different directions for optimum light. Overall its a good buy!

Nice main floor lamp

I bought this month ago and I like it. My living room is brighter,  but thanks to three separate lights, I can choose How bright it should be.

Stylish and practical. I use it for lighting the room and as a reading lamp. Would be perfect if it was a few inches taller, or available in a 6' height as well as the existing height. Great lamp.

Love it!

Great lamp, nothing fancy but very functional. Best of all it's half the price of a very similar lamp (height, weight, look, color) in another store. It's a bit flimsy so I use LED bulbs, just to be on the safe side.

Tree lamp

Pros: Purchased last night and assembled it right away. Easier to assemble than more expensive ones. Solid base so it stands without worrying about it tipping over. Pole stands at a 90 degree angle to the base. A much more expensive pole lamp purchase elsewhere leaned to one side. When screwing pole pieces together, cord did not seem to twist inside the pole as with some other models.

Cons: The buttons that go over the on/off switches do not fit very snug and pop off easily, however the smaller switch the buttons cover still works.
Too soon to Tell: Only concern may be that the mechanisms that allow each light to be turned in various directions may wear fairly quickly and prevent further adjustments.

Good Value

I am using this with LED lamps, and it works great. LEDs run so much cooler and use little power, so it should last longer.
Assembly was quick and easy.
The shades tend to flop down due to weak pivots (-1 star).
This lamp has a relatively small footprint and has worked well in my office with all-day/every-day use.

Works well for me

I bought two of these lamps a month ago.The price was good and the quality is ok. Assembly is easy and didn't take long. Actually took longer to unpack than assemble. Only problem so far is the buttons that cover the on/off switches do not fit tightly and can come off easily.
