Easy to open, magnetic closure could be a little stronger, in my opinion, however will work for toddlers- easy to open.

This is a really cute toy chest, and if the lid falls on your toddlers head, it won't hurt.  Price is good, I bought 2 of them.

I bought this toy chest to put my daughters toys away in one of our living rooms and it is perfect.  It's really cute, a great size and isn't too kiddish for a living room.  The material is great, definitely a quality product.  The only downfall I'd say is that the lid when closed doesn't have any velcro or magnets to keep it closed so the little lip that overhangs just kind of sticks out.  Wish that design flaw would be fixed. Otherwise great toy box and happy with my purchase!

Cute but very flimsy. This is fine for the storage of toys for my baby granddaughter but, for 2 years old and up I would not recommend this box. It bulges out on the sides and there is no closure on the lid to snap it shut. I will apply Velcro but for the quality it is highly overpriced.
