Ease Of Use

I used this product on my fabric top convertible (Volkswagen Beetle).  The cleaner worked great and was easy to use.  It really helped to get the top back to original and removed all of the dust and dirt that had accumulated throughout the years.  The fabric guard worked great also.  The most important item is to make sure that you protect all other surfaces from overspray as it is difficult to remove.  Also, I only used 1/2 of the container of cleaner but was down to the end of the fabric guard bottle.  For a larger top, I would suggest an extra container of the fabric guard.  My top now beads like a freshly waxed car.  I would recommend this product for any fabric top.

Fantastic for the used rag top.  The cleaner worked really well and was easy to rinse.  The protectant provided great water beading post-treatment.  

Procedure I found effective: Vacuum top with a soft brush attachment prior to wetting for cleaning.  Use of a sticky-tape lint roller is also useful.  Wet top using shower setting on hose (jet setting isn't required or helpful).  Be careful around any rips, tears, abrasions, or failed seals on the top.  Spray on cleaner and work in gently with a horsehair or other soft brush.  Rinse thoroughly using shower setting on hose.  Dry with microfiber drying cloth.  Allow to dry completely.  Mask off glass and paint before applying protectant.  Spray protectant on top in a sweeping motion, overlapping each section (like you would use spraypaint).  Buff off any overspray before it dries.
